Insights on Using Architectural Design Questions

Re: Opinions about using ideCAD Architecture 7 questions Hello, ideCAD Render and ideCAD Architecture's render engines are exactly the same. In versions before 6 versions, ideCAD Render; It had advantages over the architectural program in terms of using free solid modeling techniques with geometric objects such as elongated objects, rotated objects, spheres, boxes, but since version 6, these possibilities were also included in the architectural program. Moreover, it is more practical to work with these in the architectural project process, that is, within the architectural program. As of versions 6 and 7, I personally do not recommend working in ideCAD Render. (except for rendering) However, there are times when it is necessary and useful to switch to ideCAD Render because there are more options in animation preparation, texture layout options.

Re: Opinions about the use of ideCAD Architecture 7 questions hello, we will prepare the interior and exterior perspectives of the business center project we are working on. There are escalators in the business center, we do not have escalators in the program, how can I solve this? can you help me?

Re: opinions on using ideCAD Architecture 7 questions Hello; I could not solve the problem as in the figure while defining the jamb for the windows, can you help? (The jamb comes out on the inside of the window, but I want it outside. All the other windows are as I wanted, but the windows on this facade only come out like this.)

Re: opinions on using ideCAD Architecture 7 questions Hello, there is a problem specific to that type. Can you write your full name? eg. 1/50, simple combo, like pen15.dio...

Re: Opinions about using ideCAD Architecture 7 questions Hello, you can easily draw the escalator with the staircase and railing object. If you are going to make the railings in arc form as in the picture below, you can use the extended object command. In the attached project, you can examine this staircase, railing and extended object applications and apply it to your own project. Good work

Re: Opinions about using ideCAD Architecture 7 questions Hello again, I looked at the project you sent by e-mail. After selecting the window where you will place the jamb (when the front view of the jamb is drawn in the background), you can change the jamb direction to inside or outside with the space bar key. I think it's stuck in the other direction because you didn't do that. I returned an answer on the forum, thinking that it will be useful to our users who encounter similar problems. Best regards

Why are the 3D Library elements not visible in the section? Hello. Why are 3D Library elements not visible in the section? can you try any of them, do i have a problem? I want the washbasin chair elements to appear in the section I drew, but the 3-dimensional libraries are not visible. I guess there are no sink and chair views in 2d libraries.

Re: Why are the 3D library elements not visible in the cross section. Hello, 3D libraries have cross sections In your section-view settings; In the list of objects that will not be cut, the "libraries" part may be checked for you. Uncheck the check mark and try to cut again. There are only sink and chair plans in 2d libraries. You can take the cross section of 1-2 3D types and save them as blocks and use them. good work

Hi, sections of 3D libraries are displayed. In your section-view settings, you have "libraries" in the list of uncut objects It may be ticked. Try removing the check mark and cutting again. I'm so sorry. I noticed it at home last night. I read the selected objects there as objects that will enter the section. carelessness at work

Re: Opinions about using ideCAD Architecture 7 questions hello, the program started to close frequently with the error shown in the picture, what could be the reason for this?

Re: Opinions about using ideCAD Architecture 7 questions Hello, I wrote this question to bilig@ mail before, but I think I am writing it here again because the questions were answered on the forum. Quantity information is also required in some projects. For this purpose, I downloaded the demo program and did a work called quantity-trial about the quantity feature in the appendix and listed the situations that I think are wrong or missing in my own way. I made the same drawing next to it again for comparison. 1- According to the logic of designing the building component of the P01 curtain on the top left, I assigned a ceramic coating to the back side. However, while the length of the space is 5.80 m, it accepts 6.00 m when obtaining the quantity information. The floor height reaches 18.00 m2 for 3.00 mt. 2- In the drawing on the right, I have assigned the edge area of the surrounding objects to the M002 location, but it only calculates for the wall in the quantity. The wall covering of the curtain elements is not calculated. 3- While the rooms are created with wall elements, the assignment of the space is done without any problems, and when the curtain element is used, the boundaries of the space can be determined with the space line and assigned. Also, as can be seen in the file I added, why the program does not automatically trim the wall according to the slabs and beams. It will be healthier for both drawing and quantity. Some programs have a feature such as dominance, and the one with the higher dominance clips the lower one. Does the program automatically take wall height for wall heights that may be different, especially after the beams are drawn? As a novice for the program, if there is an incorrect operation that I have made or the program, I would appreciate it if you could provide information. I wish you good work. Sertac ERDAĞI

Re: Opinions about the use of ideCAD Architecture 7 questions Hello Mr. Sertaç, We have added your determination to our work list. The fact that the wall-floor-beam is connected to each other is something that is on our work list. For now, you can define the component by giving the ratio to the pitch. Good work...

Hello, It is understood from the information you gave in our phone call that your computer's graphics card is integrated and does not support open GL.Your problem may be caused by this.

Re: zoom back command We take note of your finding. Thanks...
