What would you like to have in ideCAD Static?

What I want to have in Idestructure Hello, I would like to share some things that I want to have in Idestructure. 1) Whether or not the internal dimensioning is drawn in the mold plan is optional or given as a block as in 5.55. I do not use internal dimensions in my projects and it is difficult to delete one by one each time. At least if it is drawn as a block, we can select and delete it with one click. 2) While drawing the beam section in beam expansions, writing the measurement values in 2 stirrups in double stirrups causes confusion. It's hard to organize this mess in every project. Also, in deep beams, it would be better if the top measurement value of the stirrup is written on the stirrup arm in the drawing of the beam section. 3) When we make a similar floor application in the beam expansions, the number of reinforcements and the total length of the reinforcement are drawn under the reinforcement line. There is enough space on the reinforcement as seen here. Where it is not, the text can be reduced a little to fit it. 4) It is necessary to draw the elevator bucket detail. 5) We want to solve the tunnel formwork project using idecad. (Fictive beam is not available, we cannot use mesh reinforcement on the curtains.) 6) To be able to sit vault and dome-style structures on beams and to make their calculations interactively. 7) To be able to make the calculation of the well foundation interactively with the building (taking into account the weight of the building). 8) To be able to calculate the hollow column (circular, rectangular, polygon) and take the drawing. 9) Making inclined slabs by leveling (for stair landing and parking ramp) 10) Giving inclination in the openings of oblique beams and drawing the lengths of inclined beams and inclined slab reinforcement according to their inclined state. In the Chamber of Engineers and in some municipalities, they cause problems in this regard. 11) Displaying all errors in the project at once. 12) Some errors that exist in the project do not appear in the reports. (File attached) There are no reports of weak column and shear safety errors in the columns. 13) Possibility of entering beams to the open side in U-Type polygon columns (elevator bucket). 14) Automation of formwork plan section and foundation plan section. 15) Nonprismatic beam making, analysis and drawing. Take it easy everyone.

Re: ANGLE ELEMENT ANGLE BEAM DRAWING OF ITALIAN FLOORING their program makers have already taken care of this. I don't understand what is the feature of entering elements in three dimensions on the screen anyway. It already makes the calculation like a straight element. Please tell us some time, now take this curved element drawing seriously. We get a lot of criticism and we eat brushes from here, I'm calling out to other user friends, don't you ever solve structures such as factory hangars, etc. with inclined elements.

Re: ideCAD 6.01 Released. Download , try , give feedback . Mr. Bbase52 I assume you are talking about drawing the expansions of oblique beams obliquely. ideCAD models these elements, be it slabs or beams, obliquely, analyzes them, prepares reinforced concrete calculations, but there is a problem in the expansion of beams. However, we request many new opportunities from ideYAPI, including myself. For example, my priority is not inclined beam expansions. There are no such structures in our region. Or our office is not interested in these things. We prefer roof shears instead of on-site docking. I can list the priority requests of our office as 1) Heat calculation 2) Rotre, submission, glaciation calculations 3) Consideration of concrete age 3) Construction phases calculation. In other words, inclined beam expansions have been absent from the beginning, I say they should not happen for a while.

Re: ideCAD 6.01 Released. Download it , try it , give your opinion . I think this seems a little illogical to me. If so, let's not enter inclined elements as oblique information. I don't know. These inclined floors and beams are probably calculated by accepting straight elements. Let's come to the frequency of use of inclined elements, for example, reinforced concrete inclined beam steel purlin structure, hangar workshop, etc. Roofs are preferred by the project owners because they are cheaper than steel. Also, such as car park landing and exit ramps, terrace floor and inclined system reinforced concrete roofs of some villas. Such as small industrial site roofs. We receive a lot of criticism because we still haven't solved the problem. In short, I think it would be beneficial to include this issue in the list of priorities, I wish you good work.

Re: ideCAD 6.01 Released. Download , try , comment . Inclined beams are calculated obliquely. We tested it many times on sap2000. Only the beam opening drawing is not made obliquely. The main thing, I think, is the accuracy of the calculations. If we cannot enter the slanted beams as slant, then how will ideCAD calculate it? Thus, we are doing the calculation correctly. I wish you good work

Re: ideCAD 6.01 Released. Download , try , comment . Mr. bbase52, Structural analysis of curved elements is done obliquely and accurately. If you (or anyone else) have any doubts about this, they can transfer data to the SAP2000 program and compare the results. Currently this situation is not taken into account when creating drawings, so you need to manually correct your drawings in 2 dimensions to avoid criticism or brushing. We read, evaluate and implement all requests written in the forum and sent to us by other means. We are aware of your need; We would like to respond to all your requests (see new column drawings), However, writing the same thing over and over does not speed up this process. We wish you good work and a happy 2010 year.

Re: ideCAD 6.01 Released. Download , try , comment . sec:admin: I fixed the drawings manually in some projects, but I guess you are aware, try to fix a lot of beams with 30 degrees mutual inclination, let's see how many hours you will fix it. You will solve a few projects before you make this correction. anyway... happy new year

Re: ideCAD 6.01 Released. Download it , try it , comment . The purpose of the above message is not to discuss whether this should or should not be done, but to answer your doubts/question about the correctness of static calculations of curved elements.

Re: ideCAD 6.01 BETA2 Update.. Try it, give your opinion... I want the opportunity to give the i and j ends of the panels at different elevations.

Re: ideCAD 6.01 BETA2 Update.. Try it, give feedback... Friends, I have a request for you. Is there a chance to leave a distance of 10~15 cm at the end of the cantilever beams or cassette beams, not to the end of the console? If we can do it, it will be both an image and a must-have. In addition, when we get the formwork plan, we have problems with small floors, since the size of the outer dimensions and interior dimensions are the same. Can we put a separation window as outer and inner dimensions in the mold plan receiving window?

Dear Admin, Sometimes we feel the need to write to the forum or technical support again, thinking that we cannot explain the importance of our requests to you enough. It visits the offices holding the registration certificate as per the regulations and checks the information such as employee information and program licenses used. Only 13 of the 166 offices controlled in the center of Antalya employ technical personnel other than the owner of the workplace. In the remaining 143 offices, static projects are being prepared by the ITB owner engineer without any auxiliary technical personnel. 92% of this rate (this rate valid for Antalya is also very high in Turkey). I think it will not change.) we, who work alone, design the project, control and correct the drawings ourselves. In my office in Antalya, where 2500-3000 projects are submitted for room approval per year, I make the curved beam projects in the program, I make the corrections in 2 dimensions, I make the calculations of the dome and vaulted buildings in the program, I organize the reinforcement plans by creating them in 2 dimensions, I make the pool calculations in the program, I arrange the reinforcements by creating them in 2 dimensions, ribbed flooring I prepare the projects with the program in the program and arrange one transverse tooth, which should be in accordance with the standards in rib floorings exceeding 4 m, and two transverse teeth over 7 m in the drawings. I add the beams myself to the end of the cantilever rib floorings... The workload of single-person offices that make up the majority like me. I'm waiting for your help to lighten it up a little more, the less important details/drawings for you and the offices with auxiliary technical personnel are important for us because without those details/drawings, the projects are not completed and we make them. I use it now because it meets my needs. As a user, I am pleased when I see that the IdeCAD Static program has been developed and some of the user requests are evaluated and some of them are implemented in new versions. On behalf of all IDE employees, I would like to thank you for your efforts.

Re: ideCAD 6.01 BETA2 Update.. Try it, give feedback... Dear Admin, taken from the message :)) We feel the need to write to the forum or technical support again, thinking that we could not explain its importance to you enough. As a user, I am pleased when I see that the IdeCAD Static program has been developed and some of the user requests are evaluated and some of them are implemented in new versions. I would like to thank you on behalf of all IDE staff for your efforts. Dear ide building family .... I request that ide building family take this message into consideration. For some reason, the most important works that I've been waiting for years cannot be added to the program. Although the ide structure takes our requests into consideration, I do not understand the stubbornness of the ide structure :) I decided not to write it like a slap I received in the message I wrote before. I hope that the ide Yapı family will prioritize their important wishes with the works and will not keep us waiting too long. :)) ...Also, the situation in Istanbul, which is the center of construction, is even worse than Antalya..... best regards.

I agree with the complaints of our brother Msa78 exactly, I also agree with the subject of inclined beam and inclined floor drawing correction, and also, as you mentioned, how we say that the closing beam is connected to the console rib ends, no one has mentioned these important issues until now, when we describe the beams to the rib ends, the graph does not detect them as consoles, they accept them as slabs. However, when we describe these console rib ends with the slab edge, we then draw a closure line here in 2 dimensions, which takes a lot of time and puts the reinforcements manually. Especially since it draws the drawings of slabs and beams with inclined reinforced concrete roofs straight, the lengths of formwork, beam, iron and stirrups depend on the degree of slope. There are quite a few differences as a result. The chamber project control engineers and the municipal public works control staff are blatantly criticizing this and even suggesting that we should not use this idea. Again, we call out to the ide building authorities. Let's find a solution to the inclined element and console rib ends closing beams that trouble us now, let's find a solution when beta3 demi 4 will be, good work to all of you.

Re: ideCAD 6.01 Released. Download it, try it, give your opinion. 1) Heat calculation 2) Rotre, presentation, glaciation calculations 3) Considering the age of concrete 3) Calculation of the construction stages Since your requests need to be repeated a lot, I will also fulfill my wishes. I repeat.

It is useful to clearly express some of our wishes. on the other hand, creating too much pressure may not speed things up either. If possible, ide officials should publish the list of works to be done in the coming days. so it is easy to follow. as well as transparent. I had a request for information on steel-related studies, but no response has been received from the ide yet. I am waiting...

As you know, version 6 has just been released. It's still too early to plan the next version, as 6 versions have just been released. While the new version is being planned, of course, ideYAPI will compile the requests here and share the works to be done with you. Best regards, ideYAPI

Hello... Thanks to everyone who contributed to ide6 beta2. It's very nice, I only have a few requests. 1) While getting curtain detail, Ide6 beta2 version gives "SCREEN DETAIL 1" output as I have attached. It throws 12 meters of horizontal distribution equipment. In the other attached file (Ide6 beta1 version), it was giving output like "SCREEN DETAIL 2". In construction, it is very difficult to pass 12 meters of iron through the columns like "CURTAIN DETAIL 1". I think it will be healthier if it is detailed like "CURVE DETAIL 2". Thanks for considering the comments in the forum, I will rewrite some of the things I want to see in the ide structure 1) When we transfer files from idestruct to sap2000, I want the building elements to appear in their real form. Currently, elements such as columns and beams are transferred to sap2000 as a circular section. Sometimes I have to transfer the project to sap2000 and show it to my customers, but when I activate the "Extrude View" option in sap2000, it becomes a big problem to explain the visible view to the customer. Other native programs do this normally. 2) Elimination of the existing deficiencies for tunnel formwork projects (the possibility of mesh reinforcement and fictitious beams on the curtains) (I do not want to have the tunnel formwork projects solved by people with other programs anymore.) 3) It is possible to analyze structures such as domes, vaults not only on their own, but also with a system in a structure. (Load transfer of structures such as Domes, Vaults). I don't think it's very useful in this way. Because these structures are not used alone, they are usually projected as part of a system. (I don't want to have mosque type projects solved by people who have other programs anymore.) At least, if the program gives the forces coming to the supports, it still works. 4)Fixed the rollover control error on the retaining curtain. 5) Possibility of hydraulic loading on the curtains that we modeled as shells. (For water tank projects) 6) Possibility to make sloped flooring by giving elevation. 7) Possibility of entering vertically inclined beams. Possibility of solving the attached building form and defining support for the beam ends. 8) Possibility of entering beams with variable cross-section. 9) Possibility to enter different levels on the upper points of the curtains. 10) Correct drawing of curved beams and floors. 11) Automatic drawing of elevator bucket detail. 12) Automatic drawing of formwork plan and foundation sections. 13) Possibility of beams between U-columns. (It would be healthier to solve it as it is done in practice.) 14) After the analysis, it is possible to see all the elements that did not save at once and to reach the element that did not save when clicked on it. 15) Correction of beam expansions. As it stands, it takes a lot of time to edit it manually. 16) Possibility of adding more than one reinforcement layer to the beams, and if necessary, the second row of reinforcement can be thrown. 17) Foundation header and different pile placement options (group pile macros) can be introduced for pile foundation. 18) Giving the grass of structures such as pile foundation, pool, dome, vault. and Giving pool reports. I don't know how to present the pool project to the municipality and the chamber as it stands. For this reason, I build a pool using curtain elements and get reports and drawings. So I don't see any benefit from the current pool option. 19) Opportunity of fictitious beam for cork flooring. 20) Automatic division of ribs exceeding 4 meters in hollow slabs. 21) There is an error where the cover margin values of Static Elements are entered in the Parameters section. For example, when I enter 4.5 cm for the column, it takes the cover as 3 cm. 22) Cutting safety in the columns, weak column error should be shown in the error section at the very beginning of the report. Thanks again to everyone's effort. Good luck with.

Hello Mr. Zeki, there is a significant difference in terms of the curtain-column relationship between "Curtain detail 1" and "curtain detail" 2, which you have shown as an example. It is in the form of a continuous panel. The horizontal reinforcements of two columns or panel elements connected to a column are drawn together to enter the relevant column. As you know, this is an important feature that we have shown within the possibilities of version 6. r is change. I'm attaching a screenshot to the message for clarity. As can be seen, P01-P02 are drawn in the same reinforced concrete construction with the columns. Otherwise, each curtain would stand as if it were independent of the columns. P03 curtain is drawn in the same construction as the column on the left, and horizontal reinforcements are closed because there is no column at the right end. Since the P04 curtain is in the form of a single panel, it is drawn in the order you have shown as detail 2. Good work...

Zeki Bey, in version 6, the cover (useful height) refers to the distance from the center of gravity of the longitudinal reinforcement to the outer surface of the element. There are no errors in the program. Good work

Horizontal curtain reinforcement Thank you for your interest, Mr. Hakan. The curtain detailing of ideyapı 6.01 beta2 version is very nice. I have no objections. What I want is only about curtain horizontal reinforcements. In the current situation, ideYapı passes the horizontal reinforcement between the columns and throws it up to 12 meters. However, it is very difficult to throw the horizontal reinforcement in this way at the construction site. The general application is done as shown in Curtain detail 2. I think it would be better if we could only get the horizontal reinforcements as in "Shear Detail 2", or it could be presented in 2 options. It would be better if anyone can draw it as they want. Good luck with.
