Is there a practical way to select and/or delete only the names and dimensions of column, beam, curtain elements in formwork plans?
Drawn pattern You can try the following method to delete the name and dimensions of all the beams for example in the plan. Layer settings / turn off all / turn only beam layer / enter text command / select all / delete, then layer settings / turn all on . You can use the same for curtains, columns or other elements. This method is one that I use sometimes. But sometimes when entering data in the drawings, it can be a problem if the beam element is not in the beam layer (or the column element is in the column layer).

Hello, I am a university student who has just started using İdecadi, I am using the demo version of idecad static, while drawing the mold plan, only the text of the beam appears where I connect the beam. (It also happened to me in other projects I drew.) It may be the cause. Also, is there such an application for idecad static version 7.018, for which student versions of idecad have been published in the past years?

We do not currently have a student version. . Good work

If I'm not mistaken, you want to say that the beam itself is not visible, only the dimensions. I can understand it from the picture. Could you have entered the beam width (as a unit) incorrectly? (for example: When I want to enter 0.25 m, 0.25 cm may be entered) Take it easy.

Hello. When I check the geometry in the attached project, D12-D13 etc. It does not detect that the beam heights to which the 20 cm thick french balcony outlets are attached are less than 1/3 of the floor thickness. It would give an error on tiles like this in every single project. For some reason he couldn't catch it. I just wanted to let you know in case it helps...

Hello, is there any program of ideCAD Static 7 Demo version compatible with Windows 8? If so, where can I get it? Thanks

Hello, Demo versions are compatible with windows 8. idecad.com.tr download This version has been removed. For newer versions, click

How do I fix the punching error (EZ) in the column? (Without changing the foundation thickness and structural loads)
Material strength can be increased, column size can be increased, new column can be added to the carrier system to overcome axial load and punching problems Column header can be defined only to overcome the stapling problem.

Hello, Although I add the panel horizontal load to the panels in the attached project, I cannot see the loads in the 3D frame and they are not taken into account in the calculation. Thanks.

When I open a project drawn with ideArchitect in static, there is a problem with the window entered on the polygonal wall. For your information.... Also, in some commands, after select on all floors, the command does not work completely, it only works on the current floor. Example: Column / Select All / Select on All Floors / Perspective view / Change layer. Axis / Select All / Select on All Floors / Perspective view / object properties / information text ... Changes only took place on the current floor.

Hello, To see the panel horizontal loads, Floor Loads into the 3D frame - You should look with the Shell option, since you define the horizontal load in Q loading, you need to select the loading Q. How did you determine that it was not taken into account in the calculation? When there are panel horizontal loads and when we delete the loads and analyze again, it can be observed that the end effects of Q loading change in the panel elements. ; When loads are defined in P01 element, V3i=8.0712 tf is output, when loads are deleted, it changes to V3i= - 0.053 tf'.

Thank you Mr. Hakan. I looked at the wrong combinations and it takes loads...

Hello, I have two questions. 1. The file size of the non-beamed slab (semi-rigid diaphragm) building model, consisting of 3 basements+1 ground and 3 normal floors in each block consisting of 4 blocks, exceeded 1GB and slowed down the analysis speed..Is this size normal? Is there a way to shrink it? I deleted the unused layers, but now every time I press the layer button, the program crashes and closes. The program is very difficult while working on the file. It has become very heavy 2. We solved the roof of the building with steel (I hope at least a simple trussed steel roof solution will be added to the program in the new version). Of course, from the roof truss. I need to effect the column effects on the carriers below vertically and horizontally. I have applied the vertical loads on the curtain. It's okay, but how can I affect the horizontal loads pointwise to the upper end of the curtain horizontally-pointwise. If I give the L length as zero from the upper side, is it okay if I give it as the curtain length from the bottom? Thanks.

It exceeded it and slowed down the analysis speed a lot. Is this size normal? Or is there a way to reduce it. I deleted the unused layers, but now every time I press the layer button, the program crashes and closes. The program has a lot of difficulty while working on the file. It has become very heavy 2. Steel the roof of the building (Hopefully, in the new version, at least a simple trussed steel roof solution will be added to the program). Hello, 1-Beamless slabs Since the analysis is based on the semi-rigid diaphragm option, it is expected that the file size will increase. File size has nothing to do with layers. You need to add it to the project file about closing the program. (To reduce the size of the file you will add, draw an unsupported beam to the system. Press the Analysis button. The program will give a warning that the system cannot be resolved. At this stage, save your project by pressing the save command from the Project menu.) 2- The curtain can be modeled as a bar in order to give horizontal point load to the curtains. Good work

Hello. I am using 7.018. I assigned the "A" hotkey to draw beams, then I realized that I couldn't draw beams all the time. I said there is something wrong when I couldn't draw even though "Continuous drawing mode" is active in the General settings, Drawing tab. I uninstalled the program twice, deleted the old files and reinstalled. In my last setup, this time I tried to draw by pressing the beam button, I was able to draw continuously. I said the problem is solved, I pressed the hotkey, this time I cannot draw beams with the hotkey A continuously. After drawing a beam, I have to re-command it. It doesn't happen when I try to draw with the hotkey, it happens when I press the Beam button in the menu??? I tried other hotkeys, it didn't work, and I couldn't see any other command other than "Beam" in the shortcut. Am I doing something wrong or is this a program error? Thanks have a good day...

Hello, Single beam is drawn because the beam command in Customization is not a "continuous beam" command, but a "single beam" command. Also "A" etc. Defining a single letter shortcut may not be efficient. "A" is a shortcut for the "Angle" value in the coordinate box, for example, when you press the "A" key while typing, the command assigned to A will run, leaving your writing unfinished... Alternatively, you can use the command line (default="K"). If you want "A" instead of "K", you can change the "idecadalias.txt" file. Good work

Hello, 1- Since the analysis is done according to the semi-rigid diaphragm option in non-beamed slabs, it is expected that the file size will grow. File size has nothing to do with layers. Saved the file differently once or twice and it was ok.

In the program, the concrete cover is written as 4 cm in the columns and beams in the reinforced concrete parameters, but it always appears as 2.5 cm in the reports. Also, in which calculations is this concrete cover deducted from the cross section? Concrete cover is deducted in the beam reinforcement ratio calculation. Moments of inertia are calculated over the full section. It calculates a cutting area of 1333.33 cm2 for a 4 cm concrete cover in a 40x40 column.

We would be glad if you go to a study where we can assign a hotkey for continuous beam drawing to use in the next version. As you know, after typing the existing shortcuts, we also have to press the "enter" or "space" keys, but in the shortcuts we assign, the command is activated when the key is pressed. Good luck with...
