Opinions questions about the use of Reinforced Concrete Design

Re: Opinions about the use of ideCAD Reinforced Concrete 8 questions Greetings The upper and lower bars for the floor cavities take up a lot of space in the formwork plan. Instead, anchoring in a single row and adding (bottom) (top) next to the determined diameter can prevent crowds...

Re: Opinions about using ideCAD Reinforced Concrete 8 questions Hello, When the close button is pressed without making any changes to the model, a warning is given and we are asked whether we can save the changes. This alert is programmed not to detect any changes made in the general settings section. It would be much better if it could be revised to detect changes that are not on the model and give a warning. Of course, saving the model is not difficult, but this feature also helps me understand if I have made any changes to the model. :) I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the ideCAD software one by one. I am really happy to use this software. Achievements...

Re: Opinions about the use of ideCAD Reinforced Concrete 8 questions Hello, I am just learning about idecad reinforced concrete, I have analyzed in my work project, but I am getting an error (AS1-) in the raft slab and I cannot fix it no matter how much I increase the frequency of the reinforcement amount. Also, if those who have time examine the project and point out my mistakes, it will be very I would be glad..

Hello, The elevation of the lower raft (RD2) in the upper right corner of the building is not compatible with the column elevations. You can enter -120 cm. Also on the ceiling of the elevator tower, the slab edge is entered at the joist edges of the D14 and D16 slabs and the slabs remain in the air. Not attached to the joists. Review the data entry here.

You can give an elevation of -180 cm to the columns connected to the raft, or you can enter the elevation of the raft to -120 cm. In addition, the floor edge is entered on the beam edges of the D14 and D16 floors on the ceiling of the elevator tower and the floors remain in the air. Not attached to beams. Hello Hakan, thank you, I applied what you said, AS1- error has passed, but it gave a stapling error in the columns, thank you for your help, have a nice day :)

Re: A lot of questions from demo users in a short time First of all, I would like to state that I am not an ide user, I have been reviewing the demo version for about 1 week. (I think some friends are obsessed with it.) I have some questions about the program, I would be glad if they are answered; 1- While marking the beam; When I want to make right end-name and left end-size in the beam, the program does not allow this. It throws one of them out. how do i solve it? 2- How do I define the gap on the screen? 3- I want to choose reinforcement without pile in beams. However, the program still throws a battery. (I choose the pleated option in the settings.) How do I prevent it? 4- When I manually interfere with the raft basic reinforcement, the newly selected reinforcement is sufficient, but it gives an insufficient warning. Do I have a chance to change the equipment provided by the program? 5- When defining wall loads, would you recommend defining them from within the beam menu or from the wall tab? 6- When the Rx and Ry values for high ductile and mixed structures in the earthquake calculation do not turn out to be integers after the analysis; Do we need to manually enter the values found by the program and refresh the analysis? Or does the program automatically take into account the found values? 7- Where can I see the building natural vibration period T value? 8- How do we define the soil group (A,B,C,D)? 9- I downloaded the demo version I used as reinforced concrete. I think it comes in a steel package in the demo version. So when I just want to buy reinforced concrete, what are the modules to be cropped from the demo version? For example, is the scaffolding module only included in the reinforced concrete package? Is the steel element identification (excluding calculation and reporting) included in the reinforced concrete package?

Hello, 1. Apply what is written in the attached sample screenshot to make the arrangement as you say. You can open a space for the curtains with the door-window command. Click the door window command. Go into its settings and choose one of the doors/windows. Place it on the curtain. 3 If you want to design a beam with and without pleats, you must select that beam and select the no pleat option from its settings. In the reinforced concrete dialog, check whether DS (reinforcement fixing) is made on that beam. Uninstall DS. Then when you repeat the analysis, the beam will be without pleats. 4. The lack of reinforcement in the raft floors may be due to the additions. Check the accessories in the Additions tab. You can change raft reinforcements in the reinforced concrete dialog, in the slabs and additions tab. 5. It can be both ways. 6. If there is a reduction due to R=10-4alfas and R=Rnç+1.5alfas(Ryp-Rnç) conditions, you should enter the r coefficient in the analysis settings and repeat the calculation. 7. You can see it from the dynamic analysis report. 8. You can enter it in the Report/Optional reports dialog. 9. The scaffolding macro is in the reinforced concrete package. Other steel possibilities are not included in the reinforced concrete package. All commands under the steel and combination menu, reports and drawings related to it are not available in the reinforced concrete package.

Re: Opinions and questions about using ideCAD Reinforced Concrete 8 First of all, thank you for your quick, relevant and clear answers. I had one more small question about the period. I tried to explain in attachment.

Hello, The points you have stated are correct. In addition, the seismic analysis report gives information in which direction the relevant mode is active. Good work.

Hello, except for the cases specified in the 6th article, re-enter the R coefficient changed as a result of the B1 irregularity (because the result will change every time because it is multiplied by 1.25). It seems that we do not need to repeat the analysis. Is it true?

Re: Opinions about using ideCAD Reinforced Concrete 8 questions I would be very happy if mouse scroll works while entering tiles.

Re: Opinions about using ideCAD Reinforced Concrete 8 questions In the image with raft base, the slab axes of the raft are visible, but the slab is not. In this case, there is no problem in the formation of crust in the results of the Radye basic crust. In the image with raft foundation2, there is a tile of the raft foundation, but this time the image in the results of the raft foundation2 shell appears. There is a problem and errors occur in the formation of the shell. How should this problem be solved?

Hello, [email protected], the raft nets are not formed correctly. Change the finite element width to 30 cm in the raft properties, and the problem will be solved. Good work

Re: Opinions about the use of ideCAD Reinforced Concrete 8 questions Is it suitable for 10-storey or higher 15-20-storey structures in Idecad 8? Or is there something that needs to be done in tall buildings?

There must be some experience with high-rise buildings. You can easily make solutions with the right design, correct installation and good foresight. It is necessary to predict the stresses and behaviors of the high-rise structure well and to understand the modes well. Otherwise, by enlarging the sections, the result will be obtained. may not be reachable.

Re: opinions and questions about using ideCAD Reinforced Concrete 8 have a nice day. I cannot adjust my contour lines in ide8. Modify-object edit- there is no contour, only contour calculation exists and I cannot do it. Can you help me where to do it? I can't throw my axles.
