roofing problem

When I make a material coating on the roof, the result is not what I want. The direction of the coating does not match with the roof surfaces. When I looked in the metarial editor, I couldn't see an option to interfere with the coating such as uvw maping etc.. how can I overcome this problem? NOTE: I created the roof with the draw roof surface command. So there are three roof surfaces. It was not possible for me to get the roof I wanted with the other method. Best regards.

You can create the type of roof you want using the automatic roof command. This will also make your job easier when defining roof details. -Draw a rectangular roof -Make the angle of the upper edge 90 degrees with the roof surface edit command and turn off the Show in 3D option. -Use the roof space command to create the middle and corner space. The point to note here is that the gaps need to protrude slightly from the roof in order to completely clean the roof. However, the program does not allow you to click outside the roof for space. To overcome this, you can pull the roof space inside the roof after drawing it. Check out the attached sample project and screenshot. The texture coating direction on the roof surface is parallel to the slope (eave) edge. If there is a situation in your project that does not comply with this, send your project and we will examine it. (General uv mapping possibilities are available in ideCAD Render.)

Dear admin, I have sent you the framework file. I wonder why the coating direction is wrong?? Best regards.

Özgür Bey does the roof surface object, texture coating event perpendicular to the first drawn edge (mus). In your project, you first drew from the ridge edge, if you draw your polygon starting from the eave edge, there will be no problem in the future. We start drawing directly from the edge of the eaves without thinking much by hand, so we had no problems in our trials. :)

admin, I would like to thank you for your reply :D.. I am using the program for the first time. excuse me for that... best regards, Özgür Karaagac
