Opinions questions about the use of Reinforced Concrete Design

1.In my attached project, even though I do dome analysis, reinforcement selection is not made. When I want to draw a dome, the program closes.
Hello, Adjust the dome supports together with the structure according to the solution. After adjusting the supports and analyzing, you will be able to get a drawing. If you make a solution independent of the structure, you need to enter the reinforcement until the missing aces are corrected in the dome reinforcements in order to get the dome drawing. You can then get the drawing without closing the program.

2. Although the ribbon menu is closed, the ribbon menu becomes active again after I open a project made while the ribbon menu is open.
I could not create such a situation on my own computer. If you call our Bursa office during working hours, we can look at the situation you have reported by connecting to our computer with remote access.

Re: Opinions about using ideCAD Reinforced Concrete 8 questions Although the 2nd ribbon menu is closed, after opening the project created while the ribbon menu is open, the ribbon menu becomes active again.[/quote] Having ide7 and ide8 installed on the computer case this occurs. If you only use idecad8, this does not happen. Good work.

Re: Opinions about the use of ideCAD Reinforced Concrete 8 questions Good afternoon, is the ln value taken according to TS500 in the Narinlik calculation along the entire floor height (building height 12m) or should it be calculated from the floor heights for each floor separately. (4.1 m) In the IdeCAD program, the ln value is used separately for each floor and the value (410-50=360cm) obtained by subtracting the beam height. For 40x40 columns, in the direction not supported by beams, shouldn't 12m, where ln is the height of the building, be taken into account?

Re: Opinions about the use of ideCAD Reinforced Concrete 8 questions Good afternoon, When the static calculation report of the attached project is received, it does not show any errors. However, when the same system is solved with other static programs, the slenderness problem arises in the 40x40 columns on the edges and is shown as an error in the reports. Such an error is not mentioned in the ideCAD reports. It was built on site in this way, relying on ideCAD calculations. (side columns are 40x40 in size) but with the warning of engineer friends, when the same system is analyzed in another static program environment, a slenderness error is given in the 40x40cm columns in question. 1-Is delicacy ignored in this system according to the IdeCAD program? If there is a slenderness problem, shouldn't it be given as a warning in the reports (as in other static programs). 2-This building was built on site. Does it need to be systematically strengthened? Is it possible to look at the results of the performance analysis whether he wants reinforcement or not? (When the performance is analyzed, "Life Safety" is displayed) 3- Is there any collapse or loss of life in the building? I have been an IdeCAD user for years, we have done hundreds of projects by our program, IdeCAD, and implemented them on site, no problems have been encountered so far. I hope this will be confirmed as eligible on our account.

Re: Opinions about the use of ideCAD Reinforced Concrete 8 questions The ideCAD program does not automatically perform the slenderness control in reinforced concrete systems if you do not have a floor. In non-solid structures, slenderness control is done automatically in steel projects. We have given you support in this regard before. Although the slenderness control is not done automatically, when Euler buckling is verified in this project. So buckling does not occur. However, you have received R=8. In this structure, take R=3 and give the wind load point load to the columns and confirm the presence of these reinforcements in the columns.

Re: Opinions and questions about the use of ideCAD Reinforced Concrete 8 good day. My reinforcements are too big in the staircase calculation, I thought I was making a mistake somewhere, can you help?

Hello, Stair support Check the conditions. After the analysis, examine the deformations. It is likely that the ladder works like a cantilever because the correct connection to the structure is not provided.

Re: Opinions about using ideCAD Reinforced Concrete 8 questions Hello, When you switch to Architectural mode and look at the foundation plan, tape beams continue to appear. I don't know if there is a special reason, but it would be better not in the image. In the model with dense band beams, there may be difficulties when making fundamental corrections.

Re: Opinions and questions about using ideCAD Reinforced Concrete 8 Hello, I'm taking your request into our notes. For now you can work by turning off the beam layer when you switch to architectural mode.

Re: Opinions about the use of ideCAD Reinforced Concrete 8 questions Hello, When we solve the structure as a semi-rigid diaphragm, do we need to consider earthquake effects and in-plane forces in the slab design?

Re: Opinions and questions about the use of ideCAD Reinforced Concrete 8 Hello, Happy August 30 Victory Day. Is it possible to have the option of drawing the additional reinforcement plan separately while drawing the basic application plan?

Re: Opinions about the use of ideCAD Reinforced Concrete 8 questions Soil control period (To) that we entered in İdecad 7 version is missing in İdecad 8 version?

Idecad 7 version of the ground control period (To) we entered in the Idecad 8 version hasn't changed?
Hello, Ground dominant period (T0) was a required parameter for the earthquake code equivalent earthquake load calculation in 1975. This parameter is no longer needed since 1975 earthquake code was removed in version 8. Therefore, it was removed from Analysis Settings in 8.

Re: Opinions and questions about using ideCAD Reinforced Concrete 8 Hello, I have a suggestion about ease of use. While entering new load -wall, cladding-components in the load library, we need to enter them one by one. It would be more useful if we could duplicate an existing or added load with a command like "DUPLICATE" and modify it. I wish you a good day.

Hello, If the drawing sheet is moved to another project file by using the "Copy to file" and "Paste from file" commands, it can be exported. The exportable example is attached. Note: The export problem is caused by the reasons such as line type, fonts, etc. Can you send the dwg file you imported to [email protected] Also do not use the settings of this project file in another project. You will encounter the same problem. Good work

ABOUT THE BEAM WIDTH HELLO FRIENDS... I AM ADDING THIS PICTURE DUE TO A DIFFICULT I HAD WITH THE MUNICIPALITY. THE MUNICIPALITY DOES NOT APPROVE THE PROJECT, ALLEGING THAT A 67/32 BEAM STUCKED IN THE POLYGON CURTAIN IS ATTACHED TO THE 25 SIZE FACE OF THE SCREEN. THE IRON FROM THE BEAM REACHES TO THE OTHER CURTAIN AND ACTUALLY PASSES OVER THE SHORT CURTAIN LIKE NEVER. CAN WE GET COMMENTS FROM YOU VALUABLE FRIENDS? THANKS...
