What would you like to have in ideCAD Static?

*Especially in the basement floors with curtains, I would like the curtain detail to be drawn in the Column application plan -between the columns-*I would like to add the office title and the schematic key section of the building or the image of the 3D building to the report. I would like him to draw between the pages in stages and print that part in different tones in the main headings (floor-column-beam...). FOR EXAMPLE, I would like him to print "KEY SCHEMATIC SECTION" or 3D image in the raft calculation section of the report and scan or darken the raft basis *With Undo "I would like it to remind me of the last 3 or 5 operations I have done before taking it back or forward." .......from fixed loads: types of stored food..., or vehicle weights.... Such a good night tonight. I'll send you a "Building Inspection Static Project Control Form" I was going to try but you couldn't find "add file". It would be very helpful if you review that form. I will write a few details of my request for the new version; When the floor formwork plan drawing is taken, not only the floor and beam dimensions, but also the rib / cassette dimensions should be given in the formwork interior dimension lines; In fact, it would be better if; 1- In the formwork plan drawing: Concrete class and St420, and only "column-beam-floor" numbers and dimensions should be the formwork interior measurement line, (if any) "one in each slab" rib and cassette dimensions should be given-A diagonal line inside the slab (example: N15/32) should be written on it, there should be no reinforcement and lengths. 2-Reinforcement plan should be separate and only "slab number and size and floor reinforcement" should be 3-The letter D..... in the cassette beam expansion causes confusion,, can it be a naming that starts with N... again?

- Ability to draw with AutoCAD style commands (not hotkeys) - Pre-defined color schemes (Black background, Blue, White etc...) - Entry of objects such as walls, window spaces into the program for load analysis without obtaining an architectural license. - Drawings transferred to AutoCAD; preserving the scan line thickness and other attributes. - Observing the reinforcements placed on the 3D model and interactively changing them on the model when necessary. - The ability to enter hydrostatic loads into the basements of buildings. - Insufficient reinforcement, insufficient cross-section etc. displaying the elements in different colors on the 3D model according to the error. This should be reflected in the plan. - Interactive vertical and horizontal sections should be taken on the 3D model and it should be ensured that the modeling goes down to the last detail. - When a prepared and mapped model is revised, all detail drawings should be updated. - Desired reinforcements should be changed not only on tables but also on drawings, and the design status (insufficiency or excess of reinforcement) should be shown on the drawing. New reinforcements should be able to be added on the drawing. (In other words, the program should be completely interactive and the database structure should be reflected in all details.) - Macro programming should be included with interface support within the program and users should be able to master the program through this language. - By customizing the reports, it should be ensured that the issues that the users examine as a priority during the design can be listed. - Economy has become indispensable for us. Therefore, columns, beams, slabs, etc. The capacity utilization status of the elements should be listed and these should be shown in the 3D model and drawing. - The speed of computers is now sufficient for many applications, so Sap2000 v12 offers live (live modeling) should be switched. - Multi-core processors should be activated at every point of the program. - Masonry structures are unfortunately still the reality of Turkey. Their design should be done under ideCAD. - Adding escalators used in sweatshops such as shopping centers, hotels and cafes to the program and automatically transferring their loads to the floors. - Modeling retaining walls with any geometry, entering the desired loads on both surfaces, considering them not only as sections but as systems, and providing solutions and equipping them accordingly. - Quantity issue should be more detailed. The construction cost of the current year should be calculated with the public works poses. - Fast constructions such as tunnel formwork take service loads before the structure receives the required strength. Therefore, the analysis method that takes into account the construction stages should be integrated into the system. - Norms such as Eurocode, ACI, Snip should be added to the program and the languages of the countries using these norms should be created in reports and drawings. - Columns and beams with non-standard geometry for architectural reasons should be able to be modeled. - Not just updates. Displaying the sections of the ideCAD forum that users want to follow in the program, thanks to the RSS feed. - Teamwork module should be developed. Shares should be created on the Internet. In this way, he should instantly see the status of the static objects sent to the engineer for his project and shape his design accordingly. - Demo versions must have the ability to record (Only demo projects can be opened in demos). Unfortunately, no one can use the demo in its current state to learn. These are the ones that come to my mind right now. Programming is not a simple matter. I would like my writings to be perceived as a vision, not a deficiency. It doesn't matter if it happened in v6 or not in v7. However, about static; Although not in analysis, we started to produce programs that will make an impact in the world in terms of detailing and modeling. We must do our best to keep it going.

1) Putting a method that will save us time (for example, it can optimize) for problems that do not save shear safety in columns 2) Possibility to make pile foundations. 3) Placing the ladder in our model and making the analysis of the structure + ladder together 4) Optimization opportunity for all foundation types 5) When we use polygonal columns for the elevator bucket, we cannot put beams between the ends of the column. Solution to this problem 6) Prestressed concrete can be calculated 7) All kinds of structures (business center) , factory, plaza...) sample projects 8) Automatic drawing of plan sections when we receive the formwork plan 9) Although there is no problem in column-beam joints, sometimes it seems that they do not join (only in the image) solution to this problem

Mr. Zeki, can you add a sample project related to this last article you wrote (doesn't seem to be combined)?

As I mentioned in the attached file (doesn't seem to be merged) there is a situation. There is no problem in static sense, but visually (including 3d view) it looks like it is not merged. In another request: When we transfer our project to sap 2000, I would like it to be possible to see the values such as ground values, loading conditions, load combinations that we entered in ideCAD in sap 2000 and change them if necessary.

1) Beam loads should be visible on the beam, and even depending on a button (by turning it on and off), the loads should be visible or not. Now we can see the loads, but we need to hover over the beam and wait for the mouse, we cannot see all the beams at the same time. 2) We want to be able to enter the elevations separately as the lower level and the upper level in sloping floors. It will automatically calculate the slope according to these elevations. When we slope the existing normal slab, the slopes of the beams on its sides change, their shape is distorted. 3) It should also show the columns on the curtain sides and the reinforcement connections in the curtain openings. Also, the column-beam junction area detail and the column vertical expansion sheets should be combined in a single sheet and each vertical opening should be prepared with its own connection detail. Thus, the number of layouts will decrease, the drawings will be more comprehensive, more understandable and more beautiful, and it will also save time for ide users. 4) In the vertical expansion of the column, optionally similar vertical expansions on the same floor can be shown in a single drawing. We already show stirrups with similar openings together in a single stirrup, and we want those columns with similar stirrups to be displayed in a single vertical expansion. 5) In stud beams (even in beams requested by the user) it should be able to tighten stirrups in the same range along the entire beam. 6) In double stirrup beams, there should be at least one constructive reinforcement on 8 corners of the stirrups, and especially the two longitudinal reinforcements in the upper and lower middle should be placed in a way that exactly coincides with the corner points of the stirrups, we want the necessary arrangement to be made for this. 7) In particular, in short beams with body reinforcement, the overlapping of the letters is prevented, it only happens on short beams. 8) Double stirrups and three stirrups can be optionally made in the columns. 9) Inclined beams should be shown obliquely together with the reinforcement expansions. It is showing straight now, it should be visually understood in the beam detail that the beam is inclined. 10) In column application drawings, I want crossties to be drawn in an s-shape automatically or optionally. The curtain details are s-shaped and very beautiful. 11) In the process of selecting the concrete classes to be used in the building elements in the project general settings, it should be possible to change all of them at once. 12) Additional reinforcements placed in the raft foundation drawing are sometimes very small (like 80 100). I want these additional reinforcements to be drawn as at least 150 cm as the smallest length. If there is additional reinforcement, set the smallest length to 150 cm. 13) A new column should be opened on the quantity page and the total of all the equipment going to that floor should be written in this column, and the total of the grand total should be written at the bottom. Currently, the floor total exists for each type of reinforcement, but the sum of all reinforcements does not exist for each floor and as a grand total. 14) In the numbers given on the metering page, punctuation is used in the hundredth steps, and dots should be used in the thousandths. For example, let it be given as 55.930.28, not 55930.28. 15) Base column, curtain sprout reinforcements should be added to the quantities under or within a title. 16) While taking the quantity, I should be able to take the quantity of only the elements I have chosen. We can only see the reinforced concrete calculation of the selected elements, just like this, we should be able to take the quantity of only the selected elements. 17) We should be able to give the curtains the upper right level and the upper left level. (Changing height curtain) 18) When I change the axis names on one floor, it should automatically change on the other floors as well. (Apply the settings in general settings to all drawing windows does not work. ) 19) In the column toolbar, there is a centered column icon for the vertical axis, but a docked column icon is also needed for a horizontal axis. We want this icon to be added to the column toolbar 20) The user should be able to use any type of reinforcement on the beams they want (only when they select them). It will not make any changes to unselected beams. 21) I just want to get the quantity of the beams I have chosen. Only the beams I selected should be in the metering list, not the others. 22) I want the beam reinforcements extending into the wall to be longer in beams that are inserted parallel to the long side of the wall. should be extended to half the level of the curtain. take it easy, good work

Engin Bey, sprouts are included in the footage in version 6. Some of your other requests are already under development, we will consider others. Zeki Bey: As you might have guessed, only a visual situation in the wide beams does not affect the analysis. But we will still work on it.

Greetings to all, I will make a suggestion about adding a desired drawing status to the program in IMO project inspections. Column level expansions are already given for each floor separately only for the floor it belongs to. We would be very pleased if an option could be added to the program so that the vertical expansions of the columns can be given as one piece for the whole building height. For such a detail at the moment, we are solving our business by adding the expansions given by the program on each floor. Although this situation is not very important for normal projects, it becomes very important especially in reinforcement projects. In many tender works, it is requested that the vertical column expansions be given over all floors with each other. I wish you good work.

I want to add one more thing; Let's explain with an example: ground floor SZ01 14F14 1st floor S101 16F14 2nd floor S201 14F14 3rd floor S301 14F14 Z+3 floor Let the inter-floor reinforcements of the relevant column of a building be as above.... Column reinforcement can be arranged between floors in columns. In other words, the user can apply the most unfavorable reinforcement condition to all floors for that column or columns. this process is also valid for beams, sometimes beam reinforcements may come out depending on the unfavorable situation on the upper floors. The feature of applying this situation to other floors provides great convenience for the user.. I am waiting for your thoughts on this subject. good luck everyone

As Mustafa Bey gave, the user can make the arrangement in an example manually and we can lock the reinforcement so that the reinforcement does not change, but this time the column or beam may give an error after the analysis, for example, even if there is more longitudinal reinforcement in the ground floor column than in the basement, you can add the reinforcement of the column in the basement to the column in the ground floor. When we lock it to apply or not change it, sometimes it gives a red light ace error on the column in the basement after the analysis, I would appreciate it if you take this into account. after all, we don't want less reinforcement downstairs than upstairs.

Mr. Engin, when you increase the reinforcement in the basement, the error of insufficient equipment should not occur in any way. There may be an overlooked situation, can you forward it to our technical service with a sample project you mentioned?

I haven't come across it recently, but let me research it, I will post it when I find it or when I come across it again. Thank you for your interest. take it easy everyone...

Friends, while making the selection process, let's also select the objects that the selection window cuts (touches) that we created. Generally, if I don't select by clicking one by one, I choose from the lower right corner to the upper left corner by windowing, it would be nice if this shape was selected in the cutting elements in the selection process. Good luck with.

1_ Being able to see and control Beam and Slab Deflections from the Reinforced Concrete menu 2_ Making the min thickness of the slab while performing Geometry control or defining the slab 3_ Viewing load information such as Slab Loads, Beam Loads, Point Load, Linear Load on the model in 3D view 4_ When a column is misaligned, that column can be found on all floors the option to have the same offset 5_ The option to have the expansion of the columns extending over several floors without interconnection along single floors

Guys, let's also select the objects that the selection window cuts (touches) that we created while making the selection. I usually choose by windowing from the lower right corner to the upper left corner if I do not select one by one, this is the case for cutting elements in the selection process. It would be nice if selected.

Possibility of horizontal and vertical loading on columns and moment loading. For reinforced concrete column steel projects, you can make the steel roof part in another program and enter the moment and load values coming to the columns in idecad to complete the project

In version 6, the beta of which is being tested, all kinds of load definitions (horizontal, vertical, moment, trapezoidal load, etc.) can be made on the columns, beams, in short, all elements.

Does ideCAD Static 6 allow us to create models such as shopping malls with slab discontinuities in this version (by canceling the definition of rigid diaphragm, thus transferring the displacements in the floor plane and their effects to the model)? Best regards...
