Steel project drawings

hello, there is something I'm curious about, let's consider a steel structure that is not covered by TBDY2018, for example, a steel bridge, steel tower, etc. Let's say we did all the modeling and analysis of this structure in another software and obtained the appropriate sections. At this point, if we modeled this steel structure as idecad and obtained the steel drawings, that is, if we used idecad not for calculation but to prepare the steel sheets, would we have made a mistake?

Re: steel project drawings Hello; It is a convenient solution, you can use it like this. Just make sure that you enter the appropriate combination for the nodal point freedoms you use in the calculation. For example, make sure that you do not enter a slip combination in the calculation that you think will be moment-transferring.
