RELATED CONFIGURATION METHOD.

Hello there. First of all, thank you for answering my questions. Is there a related configuration method available in archicad or something similar in idecad? For example, can other walls, lines, etc. be drawn parallel or perpendicular by defining a dimension to a reference wall? For example, in Archicad, one or more parallel or perpendicular or angled walls can be drawn parallel to the reference wall. Is this command available in idecad??

Hello, when you activate the parallel reference or perpendicular reference icons from the toolbar and select the object you want to reference (eg wall, line, etc.), the angle is locked in the coordinate box. After that, all other objects you want to draw will be drawn perpendicular or parallel to the reference object. When you enter the command, at the bottom of the screen, in the command message line; Select the reference object. (Right-click to determine) writes. You can also define the angle by clicking the right mouse button without selecting an object and clicking 2 points to be referenced, parallel or perpendicular. To leave the reference feature, you can click the Icon again and continue working as before. good work

Thank you for your reply Ms. but that's not exactly what i want to ask. For example, we took the wall as a reference in parallel. How to draw another parallel wall by giving the distance from the reference wall (for example 10 m). I couldn't see it.. this is just a command that locks the coordinate.. I was wondering if a new wall or object can be drawn by giving a certain distance after this command is given? Best regards.

1-First click on the vertical reference icon and select the wall you want to reference. 2-Then enter the wall command. 3-Click the Define local point icon. Select the node for which you want to define the distance or the corner point with the ctrl key. This point (0;0) will be used as the origin point. Press the L key on the keyboard. For example, type 5 and enter to lock the value. When you move the mouse, you will see that 2 points 5 m away from the point you set as the origin can be captured. Fix the point by clicking the left mouse button in the direction you want. 3-Now we are in drawing wall mode. Click on the parallel reference icon and select the object such as wall, axis, line that you want to reference. Press L, enter the wall length, lock the value with enter and click the 2nd point of the wall with the left button. As a second and more practical method; You can draw a line over the wall you want to take a parallel reference and offset this line, for example, by 5 m. Then, for example, you can enter the colon command and activate the nearest point and place it wherever you want on this line. Third, you reference the wall perpendicular and draw a perpendicular wall from its end whose length is the offset distance. Then you define a reference parallel to this line and draw your other objects.
