Objects drawn in dwg format.

If the dwgs consist of 3D objects, you can import them directly into ideCAD Render by importing dwg. You can use it as a library when you save it as export ktp2 and import it into the libraries folder in ideCAD. To import 2D dwg's, you must first import dwg into ideCAD Architecture and then switch to ideCAD Render with the export to ideCAD render command (with the Import policy objects option checked). You can see your 2-dimensional library when you switch to change image/plan view from the right-click menu in the upper image. Then you should export it as ktp2 and save it in the libraries folder.

Hello, as you mentioned, I imported 2 D DWGs and rendered and exported ktp2 and saved it to the library. I see my object that I have made in the library, but I cannot see it in perspective. If you could help with this situation, I would greatly appreciate it.

When I import a dwg project, I cannot work in the program. First of all, the place it imports is in very extreme coordinates and the warning that the zoom values are exceeded is constantly coming. Secondly, and most importantly, the program is too tight and I can't work. That's why I don't import anymore, I draw in idecad by looking at autocad. Even the 2D lines that I want to make a ki block and use are very tight.

When you open the program, it will be useful for you to import your dwg files from the Project/New 2D Window to this workspace, and copy and paste the necessary parts from the 2D Window you opened while making your drawings on your floor plans to the floor plans. The imported file may have come far (if it is drawn too far from the center, it says zoom limits are exceeded.), these are the coordinates you work with in your other drawing program. While creating the drawing in ideCAD, it is important that the drawing coordinate is close to the origin (zero to zero) point, since all 3 dimensions are created during the plan drawing. Go to the "Move" command, select your drawing, click the right mouse button, give a base point, type 0,0 on the keyboard and press enter. Move the drawing to the origin. Measure your drawing with the "Distance" command on the left vertical toolbar. If there is a scale difference, go to the "Scale" command in the upper horizontal toolbar. Select "Scale by reference". For example; If we want to make it 100 times smaller, type 100 in the first value and enter 1 in the second value. (Make 100 by 1. You could say make 40 by 7, you could say make 65 by 130...) After the drawing is moved to the origin and scaled; You can prepare the drawing as a single piece from the Modify/Block command. This can be used as a base for your drawing. You can change the drawing thickness and color by double-clicking on the block with the left mouse button. Create a new layer called "underlay" by going to Layer Settings/New. Go to the Change object layer command, click on the block drawing you created and switch its layer from standard to base. After changing the layer of the drawing you have blocked, you can easily create your drawing by locking this layer (you can see the drawing when it is locked, but no change or selection can be made on it) by referencing it.

hello, I imported dwg architectural project in idecad but I can't place columns and beams, I draw a new contour area, but it doesn't work. Do I need to catch the architectural project to the zero point, how do I need to do it urgent help please

Hi, I think you are using version 7. First make sure if you need to measure a distance and scale in the dwg drawing. Scale if necessary. For example, if the length that should be 1 m appears 100 m, you need to reduce it 100 times. Then move the drawing to (0;0) coordinates. If you are using version 8, this process will be done automatically from the dialog during dwg import.
