new project

Hi friends; I am a new forum member. I met idecad while drawing something with powerpoint in my own way. I want to draw the plans of the house I bought and place the things on the program. There is everything, including room dimensions, furniture dimensions, but I am inept at projecting. Please help, I would appreciate it, thanks in advance... ;)

Hello, welcome to the forum. What kind of help do you expect?

Thanks for your interest, I must say from the beginning that I have nothing to do with architecture or construction (I understand if you don't want to waste your time) I just want to design the house I just bought. As I said, there are room sizes, I want to draw a house sketch, paint the walls, lay the parquet and place the furniture, so in short, I am looking for education and entertainment for myself, thank you

First of all, wall drawing, door-window drawing, I recommend you to watch the site drawing and library drawing training videos. Then you must first draw your walls by typing the length of the walls in your own house in the L (length / distance) parameter in the coordinate box. In the next step, you will draw your doors, windows and spaces (coverings such as ceramics, carpets). You can create materials such as parquet, paint, ceramics by entering the materials command under the settings menu, or you can use ready-made types by loading them from the archive. You can define the materials you create as your wall paint, for example, by choosing from the section defined about the textures in the wall settings. Training videos will give you an idea about this. Finally, by choosing the ones you like from our rich 3D libraries and placing them in your project, you can try different alternatives by seeing and visiting all the rooms of your house in perspective. Have fun ;)
