In our regulations, pursuant to article 10.4.2 - Design Principles in TS500; In continuous foundations with beams, the beam height, including the plate, cannot be less than 1/10 of the free span and the plate thickness cannot be less than 200 mm. In such foundations, it should be ensured that the beam section is greater than the Vd design shear force calculated on the column face. If this cannot be achieved, the difference should be kept as small as possible. Is the height requirement for a continuous foundation only 1/10 of the serving span, HOCAM? Actually, there are some conditions in Under-Wall Foundation in TS500 and TDY2007 that confuse me. This Under-the-Wall Foundation and Continuous Foundation are not the same thing, right?
