adding the columns from the engineer to the architectural project

As you know, while the project is being prepared, we first add the sketches and then the plans, and then the column designs after the engineer comes to us. As you know, these designs are sent in cad format because they are used with different programs.

Assuming that the file format that different programs generally use in common is dxf or dwg, you can follow this path. In the Tools menu, there is the command / 2D project architecture read /. With this command, you can read objects such as columns, beams, curtains, walls, axles. Thus, for example, you can place columns drawn with lines as column objects in your project.

So, is it possible to situate the dwg file that comes on the plan by taking it as a reference, I wonder what should be considered before doing this.

I did not fully understand your question. First check if the scale of the dwg file is equivalent to the scale of your own file. Then call the dwg file into your drawing with the import command. Then you can move the drawings in the file to the point you want with the move command. I don't know if your question has been answered.

Now how do we place the girths from the engineer on the plan we drew earlier. Or do we need to increase the lines in the dwg file (i.e. the columns whose columns are placed in the architectural project) to 3d one by one with the 2d arrow tool and get our sections and views again. so we will draw the project again :D

If you want, you can open it on a separate page, create the columns there, and copy and paste it onto your project. (in this way, other lines will not interfere with your project) Or you can select your columns made up of lines on another page and convert them to columns' with the convert command. (this is a different method from 2b project read) Of course, when you place these columns in your project, if they enter a section or view, you may need to get a new section view.
