Hello everyone, I want to calculate the wind load acting on a 30 degree pitched roof according to TS EN 1991-1-4. As I am an architecture student, I do not know much about these subjects. Wind load is a load that acts on the structure horizontally and the calculation is made by finding the wind pressure on the affected surface. Wind pressure is shown perpendicular to the surface in TS EN 1991-1-4. In this case, does the wind actually act perpendicular to the surface rather than horizontally, or is it necessary to perform a static analysis by taking the perpendicular component of the horizontal wind load to the roof surface, which we accept when finding the wind pressure. I would be very happy if you could help me with this. Thanks in advance, psoriasis
