Re: What should ideCAD user who insists on rigid analysis do Hello; Every question asked through the forum and technical support is answered with care. It will be understood if the forum is examined that we are very sensitive about this issue. Keeping the focus of the subject unchanged will make this title more useful for engineers. With the new Earthquake Regulation, technical documents will be added to this title in order to eliminate the confusion of civil engineers and increase their knowledge, you can add the resources you think will be useful. A Turkish explanation has been added to the image so that the publications previously announced by Ömer Bey and shared by İsmail Bey can be understood by everyone. Re: What should ideCAD user who insists on rigid analysis do Hello While asking questions and answering questions in the forum, it is thought that there may be other users who have the same problem rather than "people asking the question". So the question must of course be asked. However, some of your questions were really repetitive. In order to have a little knowledge of the subject, literature research can be done and the written articles can be examined. I recommend
Is it because of the slump values they determined according to the formulation / because of the different settlements? Or because the formulations used in the references in the ground survey reports are not considered as superstructure interactive? si *Available with a construction weight of 1.5ton. A structure that has been modeled with a real model, 3D analysis, and foundation displacements found with such a fictitious formulation should not be compared. In other words, the settlement values in the ground studies are not realistic. Good work
Re: What should ideCAD user who insists on rigid analysis do Hello, First of all, thank you for the documents you shared. I am ideYAPI AŞ. I am working as an R&D and Technical Support Engineer in the team. Such sharing in the forum is beneficial to our users. I will show you examples with different diaphragm models of the same structure with ideCAD. As can be seen below, when we compare the rigid diaphragm and semi-rigid diaphragm models, different displacement values are seen in the middle region of the models. While the maximum displacement is 0.035 mm in the rigid diaphragm model, this displacement value is 0.163 mm in the semi-rigid diaphragm model. In the semi-rigid model, the extreme forces will be higher in the column beam connection due to this displacement difference. In the rigid diaphragm, the displacements are less because the horizontal loads are transferred to the beams and columns without considering the floor deformation.
