In this example, the bending and shear reinforcement calculations of a 6 m long reinforced concrete beam element are made by independent hand calculation and compared with the results of ideCAD Static. TS 500 was used in the calculation of reinforcement area . The beam is under the effect of a uniform load of 36.67 kN / m, one end of which is fixed and the other is a movable support.
