Program: ideCAD Architectural Version: 6.x, 7.x Topic: Making pen and color settings in DWG Export and AutoCAD program 1- DWG Export 2- Pen and Color Settings in AutoCAD 1- DWG Export ideCAD Projects created in the program can be saved in DWG format. DWG export command is used for this. -> Switch to the floor or drawing window you want to save as DWG. -> Click on the line Project/Export/DWG. -> Save Dwg window will appear. -> Type a name in the File Name line. -> DWG/DXF Export Options dialog will open. Set the required parameters in this dialog. -> Click the OK button. -Save as block: Objects are transferred as a block (whole). Objects will appear as blocks in the Cad environment. -Save as fragmented: It is ensured that each line whose objects are created is transferred as a separate line object. -Export 2D objects: Exports only 2D objects. -Export 3D objects: Exports only 3D objects. Export -2 and 3D objects: Exports all objects. -Export as outline: Specifies whether true type fonts used in drawing will be exported to outlines when converting to vector fonts. All fonts are prepared as lines. -Export as AutoCAD standard font: Specifies that true type fonts used in drawing will be exported as AutoCAD standard font when converting to vector fonts. (AutoCAD is a registered trademark of AutoDesk.) -Reduce font size: When marked, the size of the text is reduced to fit the font size of the AutoCAD program. -Transfer as True Type: It is determined that the fonts will be transferred as True Type to AutoCAD R13 and higher versions. -Convert to closest colors: Converts existing colors to closest colors. -Convert to base colors: Converts existing colors to base colors. With the name written on the File Name line, two files with DWG extension drawing file and CTB extension pen and color settings will be created. In the example screenshot, the file name is given as "ideCAD DWG Export". 2- Pen and Color Settings in AutoCAD To transfer the pen and color settings made in ideCAD to AutoCAD environment, the following procedure is followed. By using Windows Explorer, the folder where the export process is made is moved. The file with the CTB extension created when DWG Export is made is selected and copied (CTRL + C). In AutoCAD, the "Manage Plot Styles" command is clicked on the Print menu. The CTB file is pasted into the opened Windows Explorer window (CTRL + V), and click the Plot command in the Print menu. In the dialog that opens, the project name given for DWG export in the Plot Style Table (Pen Assignments) options is selected ("ideCAD DWG Export.CTB"). After setting options such as paper size, scale, print area, the Preview... command is output on the preview screen. The layout of the sheet to be taken on the paper can be checked and output can be taken with the OK command.

Emrah, you have explained very well, I am not at the computer, but what you wrote was like a one-to-one training, thank you

I made the pen thicknesses as described. but there is one thing i am wondering about. When printing, we select the monochrome option to print in black and white. When we mark the ctb file coming from the ide, we can get black and white.
