Too many column reinforcements

Hello. S12 Column is deleted in the 1st floor plan, the system is solved together with the stairs, additionally you have defined the floor in the stairwell, you are affecting the stair loads to the system twice, it would be appropriate to delete the floors or stairs.

ok, when you analyze what you sent, s1 70 fi 14 comes out again, isn't it abnormal, that's all, you can analyze the project you sent and open the ground floor column application, you can understand my problem more easily

Anomaly in your project is caused by errors in geometry control. It is necessary not to proceed to the analysis without correcting the errors. It only remains to fix the column beam junction errors.

In addition, High ductility level was selected in your first project and R coefficients were entered as 4 for X and Y. As in Engin brain project, you can reach appropriate results by reducing the earthquake force by taking Rx= 8 and Ry = 7.

I would have a question. I didn't want to open a separate topic when it comes to column reinforcement. My project has 3 floors. The number of reinforcements in some columns of the last floor is higher than the ground floor. I couldn't figure out why? Sometimes there is enough reinforcement that the cross-section is insufficient. In my columns with insufficient reinforcement, sometimes the problem can be solved when I make the column reinforcements the same starting from the basement to the last floor. Insufficient reinforcement appears in red in the reinforced concrete/column menu, but when I make a filter/negative, the error does not appear.

It will remove the largest reinforcement area in the columns The design is made according to the combination effects. On the upper floors, more reinforcement may be required due to the decrease in the normal force and the moment effect. If the number of reinforcement is insufficient for the cross-section, then it should give the maximum pursantage (M) warning in the relevant column. If the column does not give an M warning, only the color is red. may be related to the problem of insufficient clamping length (ab). (See beam pa parameters TDY item 3.4.3.1 control ) You should attach the project file so that a general evaluation can be made and whether there is a situation arising from data entry.

Hello; I am having a similar problem. In my project, there are too many reinforcements on the ground floor. Is there something I did wrong? I would be glad if you help. Good work.

Hi My Suggestions --You can make the outer beams 25/50, (adjacent side) --Fix the rib beams to center the columns, --You can remove the wall loads in the attic and reduce the live loads, --Increase the floor load if there is a wall coming to the floor, --the beginning of the curtain and accept the end as a support and pass the foundation beam in the foundation, --Do not make the narrow side of the column 30 cm less, even if it is on the upper floor, --Is there no stairs in this building? Unver ÖZCAN
