Hello, select beam, column or panel elements. Right click You can add a Point, Uniformly Distributed or Trapezoidal Load by using the "Add Load" command in the menu.Added loads can be examined in a 3D frame by ticking the options shown in the picture in the dialog of displaying the results.

where can i find the setting of adding new loads on the beams in the version 6?

Load interfaces are different in 6 version

Set "3d frame view" on perspective window

Select beam element on "3d frame view" and click right button while cursor's on it..

You will see linear, point etc. load commands on right button menu.
