Hi, the beam height can be increased in beams with deflection error. If the deflection value and the limit value are close to each other, increasing the compression reinforcement may contribute to the solution of the deflection problem. (However, when increasing the compression reinforcement will increase the reinforcement area at the support, it may cause shear safety problem of column-beam junction)
