raft flooring

There is a subject that I could not do. I read the pdf help file, but I did not understand it. It is probably easy, but I could not do it. The thing is. I want to define a raft tile. Before defining the tile, we have to enter the base constantly. .when I remove it, the flooring goes away. Could you tell me what the solution could be?
