Joining 2 profiles only with bolts and angle bracket

Hello - How can we join 2 profiles consisting of columns and beams without welding and without plates, using only bolts? - I want to make a double angle joint on columns and beams. But it recognizes column as beam and beam as support. I want to connect the two beams on the column using double angle brackets and one bolt each.

Hello there; In the program, you cannot define combinations only with bolts. To connect beam to beam, you can use a belt joint in the program, this connection includes bolt and plate and weld. Or if you just want to connect by source you can use a welded join. There is no angle joint defined in the program so that you can fit two beams into a single column. If you want it to stay connected above the column, you can use a support joint. Or you can take the beam elevations 10 cm down and connect the beams to the column head with angle joint. Turn off fast mode during this identification. Good work.

Thank you for your answer. I want to ask a question about the inadequacy of the C-section. I have defined the c-section with the appropriate values in the program, but in the analysis all the c-sections seem insufficient. I made it again from a new file for testing purposes. No matter how I define the cold rolled C and Z sections, it always gives a section error, and there is no such problem in the other sections I have introduced. How can I solve this problem?

Hello there; In the program, C and Z sections are designed as purlin only. When you use it for other elements, you can only get internal force - analysis result and drawing, not design checks and reports.
