It crashes and closes in version 6.53

Hello. In idecad 6.53 version, it crashes frequently and closes. At first I thought that the computer does not remove it. I removed and threw the pc with centrino duo processor, 256 mb video card and 2 gb ram. I bought acer 5742 g 1 gb graphics card 3 gb ram core i5. It came very slowly and when I took a simple render in 7 hours, I gave it to someone. I bought asus n53sv core i7 4gb ram 1gb video card and it still crashes and shuts down. I think the problem is in the program. All graphics cards are nvidia. I've heard that there is a problem with ATI, but I don't understand why I live on nvidia.

There is no known "frequent error" problem in the program at the moment. Likewise, there is no problem with ATI or nVidia graphics cards. The problems experienced with ATI graphics cards years ago were due to the lack of opengl support of ATI graphics cards and not only for ideCAD. It got better over time as ATI cards improved opengl support. Let's look at the situation if you can clearly convey the situation you are experiencing and the project as "open this project, do this, it is closing". If you are trying to render on the notebook, there may be heating problems because rendering is a forcing process. For example, does the shutdown always happen while rendering? What resolution are you rendering at? Or does it happen when you do a certain action? You say you gave corei5 because it renders slowly, for example, did it crash too? We need information like this to help you out so we can figure out why.

program locking itself is new and not a computer-related problem. I have this problem since 2005. but it would be 1-2 times a month. I have this problem almost every day now. In other words, the program is not suitable for free and serial operation as in AutoCAD. It freezes when I cancel a transaction and switch to another operation and it goes away when I save it. I think it freezes when I try to click on any command while switching to the autosave command. I can't say exactly because of this. The reason is that it does not give an error in a certain directive. As for rendering, I was curious about the new version and decided to render one of my old projects. The render I took in 2 hours with idecad 5.14 and an old laptop took 7 hours with 1600 x 1200 pixels. so I took old renders with pixels like 3000*2000.

Of course, I experienced more freezing problems in core i5. In another problem, when I want to switch to perspective view mode from 2D, the perspective window does not open. When you right click on the perspective window in the lower right corner and select the interactive camera, the perspective window switches to full screen mode.

The problem you are describing sounds like a problem with the video card. If you have the opportunity to bring your computer to our Istanbul or Bursa office, we can examine it. Comparing the time of the new render with the old render is not very meaningful, because the new render engine performs 500-1000 times more calculations than the old one (depending on the settings). If you change the settings to the old render engine setting, the render you get in 2 hours will probably decrease to 1 hour...

I've never encountered an error and shutdown problem. The render engine, speed and quality in version 6 are not compared with version 5. However, it is compared with other professional render engines. I wish you a good work .

I am not writing to criticize idecad. I learned from the demo version in 2004 and I have been using both architectural and static dimensions and 3 dimensions for 7 years. Until now, I was finding the solution to the problems myself. but in the last 1 year, there has been an incredible development in terms of architecture-static and 3D in the program. I believe that I can now make 3D in 3D with better quality than archicad. In other words, idecad has outdone itself. I wouldn't be surprised if it competes with max and cinema 4d soon :))) I don't have a chance to bring my computer to bursa or istanbul because I live in Alanya. I also work at the construction site during the day, and at night I prepare an architectural or static project in an office. I do at least 6-7 projects a month. pc specs are not simple. but the graphics card is the shared gt 540 1 gb cuda model with the nvidia's optimus feature. asus n53sv core i7 640 gb hdd 4 gb ram 6mb cache 1 gb graphics card and a 1 month old laptop, but previously had a 4-year toshiba 256 graphics card 3gb ram 2mb cache centrino duo processor believe it was more performance than that. LATE:)))

Do you experience the slowness on the 3D screen, for example when using an interactive camera, or while rendering? If there is slowness in the 3D display, check the always use performance video card setting from the nvidia control panel's optimus settings. (Manage 3D settings->Global Settings->Select the preferred graphics processor->high performance nvidia graphics), If you did not do this, your computer may be using the worse integrated Intel GPU due to the optimus feature. If necessary, update your video card driver to the latest version (from

, not from asus' site). Notebook manufacturers generally follow the latest version a little behind in the drivers they put on their sites. If your graphics card is GT540, your processor must be i7 2630qm, right? We have an ASUS n53sn notebook in a similar configuration and we are not experiencing any slowness. If the rendering process is taking too long, send a sample render project with its settings to our technical service (or add it to the forum), let's see how long it takes on our computers, if necessary, we will give accelerator tips about the settings. If there is a slowdown problem, most likely the video card driver is not installed or is an old version. I experienced the exact problem. update the video card driver. As for the shutdown problem, excessive library usage in 3 dimensions may exceed the memory amount of the rams (virtual memory). In this case, 3dsmax and other 3D programs would crash and close. From the features you have given, your computer seems to be fine, but a 32-bit operating system supports 2.7 GB of RAM and 1 core. so it doesn't matter for an operating system that it has 4 gb ram and 4 processor cores without a computer.
