Issue with semi rigid analyzing

dear hakan
i have a project having 4 stories and a concrete vault at the roof,
i tried to do semi analyzing for all frames with the vault and i setted off the seismic analysis,
but after 1 hrs of analysis, i got freeze >>

Hi ammer,

Building periods look very high, which is bigger than 1000 seconds in your project. We will inform you when our study on it is finish.

2- vault parts should be analysis with model structure.

Hi ammer,

There was some data problems in your project which were effecting rigid diagrams model and causing wrong frame system.

We fixed them by editing following objects.

Basement story:

Ribbed slab S87's starting offset of first beam changed to 0.05 m.
Ribbed slab S92-94 starting offset of first beam changed to 0.10 m.
Beam B177-174-48-184's connection to shear wall was not valid. Connections fixed.
Beam B72 wasn't connecting to column C68 . Connection fixed. (in all stories)

Ground and first story :
Ribbed slab D48 and D49's starting of first beam changed to 0.20 m.
Ribbed slab D57 and D58's starting offset of first beam changed to 0.10 m.
Ribbed slab D87's first beam defined 0.50 metres from Pp02 shearwalls
D55's contour wasn't correct. It's fixed.

Second story:
Ribbed slab D57 and D58's starting offset of first beam changed to 0.10 m.
Raft foundation's finite element width changed to 1 metre for faster analysis.

Note : Semi rigid diagrams model's analysis surely will take longer than full rigid diagrams model's analysis depend on node's counts.

Your project is quite big... analysis took about 120 minutes here but it may change depend on computer.

processor 2.5 mhz
ram 8 giga
and please what are your pc speci?? :roll: :roll: :?:

You need more ram, at least 16 gb, 24 or 32 is better if you may have and i7 processor for sure

There is no checks for vault doing by idecad in program. All checks must be looked by user. idecad gives reinforcement areas only.

One more note: there are 8 dilatations in your project which is not required to analysis all in same project. Because their foundations are already separated, dilatations are not combining at any stories. So dilatations may be defined in different project. This is your another option as well. You may combine drawing if you follow this way.

That's right...
I mean out of IDECAD,by hands calculating ,what are the necessary checks should be taken by TS code?

There is no special control or topic mentioned for vaults in tS 500 code. you may check maximum and minimum percentage, reinforcement interval etc.
