Increase system rigidity with high relative floor drift

Is there anyone who can solve the project according to the new version new regulation? Although I enlarged the columns and added curtains to the system, I could not solve it.

Re: Increase system stiffness with high relative floor drift Hello; Please enter the 210*30 reinforced concrete columns in your building with the curtain command. You did not add curtains to the structure, you need to add curtains with or without spaces for the mixed selection you made in choosing R and D. When you turn the columns I mentioned into curtains, you need to choose R=5. You have chosen R=6. Not in compliance with the regulation. Good work.

Re: Increase system rigidity with high relative storey drift If the program warns us, it will be very good, for example, when we choose A33, that is, a warning is given to buildings carried by reinforced concrete frames with limited ductility level and limited shear walls, even if there is no curtain in the project. So my system actually fits the A31, but DTS:1 and 2 also don't allow this level of ductility. In other words, if we do not check it ourselves, there is no problem in the report or the program. If the engineers in the municipalities do not pay attention, it will be a wrong design. In the old versions, for example, if you added a curtain to the system and the R coefficient was 8, it gave a warning after the analysis because you chose the R coefficient incorrectly. It would be great if such a study was carried out in etc. 10, especially engineers who did not understand the regulation well or could make the wrong choice indifference.

Re: Relative floor displacement problem.. Unfortunately, reinforced concrete roofs invite an irregular roof system. I can show you the architecture. Do you have any suggestions regarding my problem?

Re: Relative floor displacement problem.. Have the architectural project changed to make static calculations in accordance with the rules.

How can I solve the problem of relative floor hoteling IF RELATIVE FLOOR STORY DIFFERENCE IS HIGH, I HAVE THE PROBLEM OF INCREASING SYSTEM RIGIBILITY CAN YOU REVIEW MY PROJECT?

Re: THERE IS A RIGIBILITY PROBLEM HOW CAN I SOLVE Hello My Suggestions: --When the R coefficients are 7 in both directions and the ductility level is high, the program's relative storey drifts in X direction are sufficient and Y direction is insufficient. --Add curtain in Y direction. --Finally, you fix the B errors. Re: Relative Floor Offset hello, I couldn't view your project because you used the top update from 10.09. Take the optional reports, look at the red marked lines in the x and y directions depending on the lambda values in the relative floor offset, in whichever direction ( x or y ) the screen is in the red marked direction. you need to add (you can see which direction is x or y in the perspective window) best regards

Re: Relative Floor Displacement Hello My Suggestions: When the concrete is C30 and the solution is made -- X direction is not relative to floor drift error, -- Since Y direction is weak, add curtains to appropriate places on both blocks, there will be no floor drift error, --Then you increase the dimensions of the insufficient columns and curtains. --Make the raft foundation in one piece, --Remove the negative control on the raft foundation, see the link below for negative ground tension.

Considering your warnings, I continued. As I couldn't get out, I started getting errors in the X direction. If I don't question its applicability in the field, I will actually use grout and get out of the business. I'm waiting for your new recommendations.

Re: Increase system rigidity with high relative storey drift Good afternoon. Although the project is small, I get the error "Increase the rigidity on the 2nd floor, can you help me?"

Re: Increase system rigidity with high relative storey drift Hello My Suggestions: --External corner columns continue 6 floors without beam connection. DON'T MAKE IT VERY INconvenient. Thank you for your reply. ((External corner columns continue 6 floors without beam connection. IT'S DEFINITELY INconvenient DON'T. HOW IS THE BUILDING PASSING FROM THE AUDIT AND THE MUNICIPALITY? )) Do you mean connect from column to girth here? direction framed Y direction framed pe You have to choose the rdel, )) where exactly do we choose this place?

Hello, the values entered in DD-3 in the TBDY Wizard/Design Spectrum tab are incorrect. The coefficients given for the DD-3 earthquake ground motion level must be entered from the Earthquake Map. If the latitude and longitude coordinates are correct When you click on the "Offline" line, you can also use the values calculated by the program (There may be slight differences between the values taken from the map because the algorithms are different.) Good work.
