Did you know that Archicad , Allplan , Revit , Tekla programs that can write data in IFC Format read axes, columns, beams, floors, walls and door-window spaces? In this way, all building information is obtained at once for all floors. This feature is available in ideCAD Static since version 5.14. IFC is a much more advanced 3D data format than Dwg and DXF.

The ability to read 3D BiM models from other programs (Revit, Archicad, Allplan, Tekla, Etabs) is not yet active as of v10.14. With the next update, both ideCAD Architecture and ideCAD Static will be compatible with all other programs that host this system with IFC integration, and it will be possible to collaborate with Architects and Engineers working with these programs within the scope of Building Information Modeling.

Greetings, I say IFC import and click on the file, the program closes. What should I pay attention to?

Hello, In the 10.54 Beta version, the development process and tests of IFC Import and export operations continue, we are preparing the IFC Import and export standards and compliance document. If you can add your IFC file and write from which program you exported it, we will examine the situation.
