How to fix Insufficient rebar development length

The error message is given for beam-column connection when one of the conditions shown in the drawing below is not met according to TBDY 2018



Solutions:

a) The total length of a + b should be increased. For this, the column size can be increased in the relevant direction.

b) Longitudinal reinforcement diameter can be reduced.

Please remember that this control can be enabled/disabled from Beam Parameters.
