How to change the width of the wall head?

hi friends
i want to increase the width of the wall heads bw
so, dose idecad automatically change the width if it required?
and if i put 2 columns manually at sides, is it correct to joint work together?

Hello,
In the program, heading width is the same as shearwall width. It is not changed automatically. There is no such rules in TBDY2018.
Columns are not considered as curtain heading areas.
If you want to make such a design, you can define a shearwall at the end of the shearwall and mark the short head shearwall option.

I MEAN IF THE SHEAR WALL NEEDS TO INCREASE THE WIDTH,
DOSE IDECAD CALCULATE IT OR IT'S A FIXED VALUE ?
OR IF I MANUALLY ADD A COLUMN BESIDE THE WALL
WILL BE CONNECTED OR COMBINED AND BEARING THE TOTAL LOAD?
 
Columns are not considered as shearwall heading areas in the program. You can examine the example to apply different width header regions.
