CURTAIN DOES NOT PROVIDE CUTTING STRENGTH

In the attached project, I increase the thickness of the basement floor P43 curtain, when I constantly analyze, I encounter the error "the curtain does not provide shear strength". When I continue to increase this thickness, this time I encounter the "curtain shear strength error" in the continuation of this curtain on the upper floors. Thanks for your help...

I think it was entered with the C20 concrete class, check the concrete class. Also, there is no problem when modeling as a shell on that screen, but on that floor, just make the concrete class at least C30, I think, model it in such a place and as a shell. These are my recommendations.

It does not give an error when we do not select the "Apply Ductile Structural Materials to Rigid Basement Floor" option from the analysis settings. When should we choose this? Do we have to choose?

Dear izmirli, If you think that the floor that you accept as rigid can show a rigid behavior, you can skip the ductile building materials on that floor. there is already a contradiction even in the names rigid solid-ductile building materials....??? The real issue is how rigid the floor you consider rigid is in reality. If you trust your rigid floor, you can make this admission. When I look at your building, I see that your floor, which you consider rigid, is completely surrounded by curtains. your flooring system can also be considered rigid in its plane. For these reasons, if it were me, I would not try to meet the ductility conditions in this layer. Good work... KEMAL YALVAÇ
