Hello, we have a project. Hollow floors are required for normal floors and cork flooring is required for the basement. Is there a restrictive provision in the regulation for this? For example, how should I choose the R coefficient here? I will be glad if you can help. Good work.

Based on your example, if your basement is a rigid basement (if it meets the conditions defined in the regulation), I recommend you to consider the flooring system in the superstructure, since the part that will contribute more to the dynamic behavior of the building is the superstructure.
