I'm building a simple two-storey reinforced concrete structure, there is negative bias on the 1st floor, and more than 1% on the 2nd floor, so there is more reinforcement ratio on the 2nd floor columns, why??

If there is a dying column on the 2nd floor, if the beam span has increased, the longitudinal reinforcement of the column will increase due to the increase in the moment at the column heads. It is necessary to make u-shaped reinforcement and put it on the column from the top, or increase the longitudinal reinforcement. .
