Hello, I am waiting for your suggestions and help about the attached project with the ground values below. Ground: 0.6 kg/cm2 bed coefficient: 1080kg/m3 to: 0.7 sec underground water sev: 2m D-Z4 suggestions: 1m rock fill will be done and all around will be drained.( It will be constructed in the first degree earthquake zone. Is pile foundation required? How to make the most reliable and economical design. how can the pile length, width, spacing and other characteristics be determined? Eng. (2005-2011)

For such a ground, I should suggest piles without hesitation, but you can also look at soil improvement issues. If soil improvement is done, piling is not needed. Your ground stresses do not appear too much. I doubt the ground report in such cases. Since piling and soil improvements are expensive solutions, re-studying from a competent soil worker sounds like cheaper costs. I hope the same result does not come out. NY

Mr. Nedim, first of all, thank you. I often benefit from your information for your reply and thank you for your other messages in the forum.. There are only two companies in the city where I live, and the second of these companies uses the tools of the first. I made a similar request and was turned down.. Sir, the summary is this: I need to solve this project with these values and the soil improvement solution is also far away. Examples of pile application are available in our city, but we have a contractor brother who does ground improvement, and he is very bad about the method made an advertisement ;) It seems to me to make a pile solution, but I have never done it before, I did not do it in research before, so I was desperate, young dynamic, but as a naive colleague, I seek refuge in your help.. Best regards Serkan ZORLU YTU İnş. Eng. (2005-2011) ideCAD (2011- ... ) :)
