About the new earthquake regulation.

I wonder what problems may arise for idecad users when the earthquake regulation changes, how can we have difficulties in adapting, dear idecad officials and users REGULATION FOR THE DESIGN OF BUILDINGS UNDER THE EQUITY OF EARTHQUAKE CHAPTER 1: Scope (Experience, competence and experience in nonlinear modeling and calculation applications. Independent design evaluation will be mandatory.) SECTION 2: Earthquake Calculation Main Principles (Calculation of earthquake loads, our spectrum curves are changing. An approach similar to Eurocode is being adopted) SECTION 3 : Earthquake Calculation Parameters SECTION 4 : Linear Calculation SECTION 5 : Performance analysis for new structures (Performance analysis will also be mandatory in some new projects) SECTION 6: Earthquake resistant calculation of non-structural elements SECTION 7: Reinforced concrete structures SECTION 8: Prefabricated structures SECTION 9: Steel structures and composite structural elements (A calculation method similar to AISC 360 - 10 approach. Both LRFD Both ASD will be found ) SECTION 10 : Cold rolled profiles SECTION 11: Masonry structures (a calculation method similar to Eurocode) SECTION 12: Wooden structures (a calculation method similar to Eurocode) SECTION 13: Earthquake resistant design of tall buildings SECTION 14: Design of buildings with base insulation SECTION 15 : Building foundations and ground SECTION 16 : Evaluation of existing structures

We follow the new earthquake regulation prepared very closely on the basis of commissions. When the Earthquake Code comes into effect, ideCAD will be revised and put into use in accordance with the new earthquake regulation for both reinforced concrete and steel structures.
