The screen is not big. Your screen resolution is low. Since version 8, the minimum required screen resolution for ideCAD is 1920 x 1080. Click for other frequently asked questions:

We were not using the minimum resolution we requested in version 8.62. In 10 versions, the information shown in the dialogs increased and we started to use it.
