Dear Kazimyirmibeş, we showed all our users and engineers who are interested in the subject that some steel projects can be analyzed within the promotional presentations of the ideCAD Static 6 version at the Yapı 2008 Istanbul Fair. Incorporating a new set of possibilities into the program for the solution of steel projects was found favorably by everyone, however, more intense demand was made to further improve the existing possibilities for analysis, drawing and reports of reinforced concrete projects and to include new structural elements (such as retaining walls, pile and well foundations) into the program. and these works became a priority in line with the demand in the sector. On the other hand, our work on steel continues. The time of submission of the project to the end user will be after the completion of ideCAD Static 6 and ideCAD Architecture 6 versions. While making this decision, the expectations demanded by the users from the software developed for the sector in Turkey in the last 5 years, reached a level that is unprecedented in the world. Unfortunately, the analogy - cow / sausage - of our very valuable teachers, years ago, became true, even if it was bitter. This situation causes us, the software houses that develop the software in question, to scrutinize their work and the criteria for starting new projects much more closely. In September 2008, the first versions of ideCAD Static 6 were delivered to our users. Work on the version is still in progress, developments upg. He took friends and his friend. Then I bought idemimar and idestatic on behalf of sta..... I don't give names, I recommended it to other friends. I've been using ide since the old ide6 and I have more or less influence on the people around me. It's not about money here.
 
Hi friends, if the package program is planning and working on steel next to reinforced concrete; I think it should be discussed whether it should be presented to us as half (only truss calculations, etc.) or if what we can do better is in reinforced concrete, it is to draw the steel solutions. I personally do not want a solution in only certain patterns. I want it to be able to produce better solutions with fax than other steel programs on the market when it first comes out.

I model the steel part with sap2000, I give the reactions to the ends of the columns in ideCAD. There is no program that does this job natively. You can also do it in sap2000, but there are no earthquake code controls and drawings in sap2000. I wrote the message in response to Kazım Bey.
 
Hello, I think there are many users like me who want to make Steel Projects and do it with ideCAD. I'm thinking of getting a program soon. I would like to know if there is a plan by ideyapı to add a steel project solution in 2010. I will take a program accordingly... I think you should focus on steel instead of dealing with details...
