As it is known, clauses c and d of article 7.4.1.1 in TBDY 2018 are as follows; In clause c of TBDY 2018 7.4.1.1; It is written that if the beam height exceeds 1/4 of the beam net span, body reinforcement will be placed. In clause d of TBDY 2018 7.4.1.1; Reinforced concrete beams that are articulated to the columns and secondary beams attached to the frame beams other than the column-beam joint points are excluded from the above rule. What is the reason for not adding body reinforcement in cantilever beams? The K147 beam in question has dimensions of 30/55. Isn't it necessary to add body reinforcement to the k147 beam according to TBDY 2018 conditions? Or is there a separate requirement for cantilever beams? For example, cantilever beams; Reinforced concrete beams, which are articulated to the columns, are considered outside of this rule because they are considered as hinged beams as per the phrase. I would be glad if you can help with this. ---------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- I wish you a good work, Best regards.
