What do you understand from rooftop loads mentioned in TS498? What is meant by the attic and the room here? Can you imagine a[/u] attic room that is under the roof and no a deck above it? DUBLEX ROOMS BETWEEN THE ROOF WITHOUT FLOORING Aren't they considered loft rooms? Or even if there is an independent section between the roof, does it not fall into the class of attic rooms? What is the description of these loft rooms, for God's sake? If it doesn't fit any of the descriptions I listed above, why is TS498 also available? Best regards.... N.YILMAZ

Re: The loads of the two attic rooms.... As you mentioned, it is stated in Ts498 that 150kg/m2 can be taken as a live load in the attic rooms. In my personal opinion, I think that this is an arrangement because the entire area cannot be used due to the slope of the roof. It may be sufficient to take 150kg/m2 as a live load in the rooms under the roof. In addition, if these floors, which are generally neglected or forgotten, carry a wooden roof, I think it would be more appropriate to add this wooden roof to the fixed and live load of the last floor slab, taking into account the dead weight of this wooden roof, the live load on the roof and the snow load.

Re: What do you understand by roof loads mentioned in TS498 Mr. Yasin, Thank you for your reply and comment. As you can see, no one on the forum does a project with an attic room. :) Anyway, other roof-related loads are added to the self-weight as roof load...
