Where exactly is the value of the volumetric ratio of the shear horizontal body reinforcements? I couldn't find where it got that value in the interrupt safety check. I would be glad if you help. Thank you Civil Eng. Candan Öztürk

Hello, We print the value of Vr in the curtain cut safety report. Vr = Ach. (0.65* fctd+ rosh*fywd) Vr value can never be less than rosh=0.0025, but the rosh value may increase due to the shear force. The rosh value for any pitch is the value you can find from the formula above. for example: Vr= Ach. (0.65* fctd+ rosh*fywd) 129.25= 2.59 * 0.25 * (0.65* 130.322 + rosh *37241.81) rosh = 0.0030

In other words, we find the Vr value not from the volumetric ratio, but from the volumetric ratio Vr. Okay, thank you..

Yes, it does, but the Vr value is never less than the min volumetric ratio tdy gives At that stage, Vr is found from the volumetric ratio (Vr> Ach. (0.65* fctd+ 0.0025*fywd)) With the transverse reinforcement found from the shear force, Vr can increase, then the volumetric ratio also gets bigger.
