Hello.. Dear IdeYAPI Officials; We heard that version 6.5000 will be available to users in December, what are the innovations and improvements made in 6.500? When will the updates be? We will be pleased if you inform us.

New features that are certain to be in ideCAD 6.5 version:
  • New beam expansions and additional beam reinforcement options (complete stirrup tightening, optional bends in the support, partial reinforcement transitions in misaligned beams, etc.)
  • 2D / 3D PDF export
  • TS498 Live load reduction
  • Additional user loads report
  • Improvements in retrofit reports (given element damage limits, damage reason writing etc.)
  • Additional information in reinforced concrete menus (beam deflection/crack control, column-beam connection) region, column cutting safety), the possibility of examining the values without a report
  • Find object in perspective command
  • Align (align) and distribute (distribute) commands
  • Prepared parametric exterior claddings: Jointed cladding, mansion printing and terra cotta claddings ...
  • 3D block export/import commands to render more than one building (site) in the same project
  • Render according to predefined resolutions and ready paper sizes in the render settings know
  • Recall last render command
  • Improvements in auto-naming
  • "Change Material Properties" command in architecture program
  • Automatic collection of all textures used in the project into a directory (to facilitate project migration)
  • Project architectural harmonize/static harmonize commands (automatic closing of related layers, drawing settings, etc. with a single button)
  • Defining different materials for roofs, spaces and floors
  • Integration with OSKA progress payment program (unit pose lists reading, transfer of project quantity and calculations)
Apart from the ones written above, we are planning to add a few more new features to this version, the update will be scheduled according to the completion of these new features. The program is currently being tested on a limited number of users as a beta version with the listed features.

Thanks, İdeYAPI.. We look forward to it.. I don't know if it's possible, it would make us happy if we could share the screenshots on the forum at least until the updates are released.. Good luck..

Suggestions for some features to add. 1) Displaying the working capacities of the elements in the project in the reinforced concrete section and showing the working capacities with colors on the perspective screen as in Sap2000, and writing the working rates on the elements. Especially for columns and beams. 2) Having the option to show all floors for rib and cassette reinforcements on the reinforced concrete part. 3) A solution for entering the value in the index part of the floor parameters, please. When starting the project, the values we entered are deleted because there is no rigid diaphragm on the floors. Since we did not enter a value in the index section after receiving the drawings, we re-take the drawings from scratch. If one of the following is done about this, we will get rid of a big problem, A) Index should be able to be entered without a rigid diaphragm. B) When we do the first analysis, the floor parameters dialog box such as analysis settings can be opened. C) The program automatically enters a value in the index itself and can change it. 4) Possibility to define inclined calculation axis for round stairs and 2-armed stairs without landing. 5) Elimination of the disappearance of the beam lines when the formwork plans of the floors with basement curtains are taken. Thanks to everyone involved.

Recommendations for version 6.5. 1.Analysis results; In column reinforcement arrangement, checking that the column reinforcement is not less than the upper column reinforcement is optional. 3. Option to fix the reinforcements of all the elements in the project at once. 4. Option to interfere with curtain header dimensions. Thank you..

I think it is important to interfere with the dimensions of the curtain header. While defining beams, beams divided by columns are defined by different names, those divided by curtains are not defined. the position of the curtains relative to the axes (indication of the misalignment in the column application plan), the possibility to enter different r coefficients for different rigid diaphragms (blocks) in dilatation projects and to determine the ductility levels, again in dilatation projects, 6 cm in the dilatation area, for example, 6 cm in the column application plan, so that the details do not interfere with each other. ..

* Will "pushover analysis" be included in addition to the improvement in empowerment reports? * In some projects, there are panels only on the facade where the road level is located in the parcels with a level difference, and these panels are modeled as basement walls in the current version and are not included in the calculation of alpha s, but by adding the total shear force (since we cannot accept that floor of the building as rigid), the fraction in the calculation of alpha s they agree with the denominator and indirectly affect the "alpha s" values seriously. I've talked about this topic before on the forum. My suggestion; instead of the definition of "rigid basement floor number" in the project, it was possible to enter the elevations that should be considered rigid in the x and y directions. (eg, while it is rigid up to 0.00 m in the x direction, rigid up to -3.00 m in the y direction, etc.) will there be a regulation regarding the situation in question? * I believe that it would be much more accurate if it was possible to enter separate R definitions for structures with more than one rigid diaphragm, as mentioned by Mr. Tevekkul. because in some dilatation structures, one of the rigid diaphragms has bulkheads while the other has columns... in this case, two separate R definitions should be entered for the two diaphragms (if possible). While the cantilever beams extending along the major axis of the panel cannot be defined in the beam reinforced concrete tabs, and they are drawn as separate beams in the expansions, when we create the same project with the same dimensions by using the column tab, the consoles are both defined and the drawing is taken correctly as expected in the beams... for your information... * While there is the option to model as a shell, panel elements cannot be modeled as a shear shell with the same dimensions and using the column tab... * Loads are assigned to columns and curtains, but panels are not loaded, (eg, pool, water retaining structures, soil thrust acting on rigid basement panels. ..vs) * a little d to the boost option aha should bend. Reinforcement projects should also be possible with steel elements and fibrous polymers (reinforcement methods that are frequently used recently) * Is there a study on options such as lightening plate, rib retaining, bored piles related to the retaining wall? (it's not very important frankly, you know, it would be nice, but it's okay if it doesn't, I wanted to learn.) Thanks for your patience and interest.... good work, respect....

As seen in the attached project, an error occurs in the basic reinforcement drawings. Can this error be corrected?

- In ribbed slabs exceeding 4 meters in length, automatic teeth appear. - In ribbed and especially cassette slabs, when one of the slabs is changed or deleted and redefined, we have to disrupt all slabs and make cassettes again in order to ensure the continuity of the teeth. (The reason we make cassettes is that there is no tooth in the ribbed floor) - again, when we leave a floor space in toothed floors, only the plaque is erased and the teeth remain in it... - again in toothed floors, the edges of the beams should be clear, (the beam is not clear between the rib lines, thick lines should be given and the beam line should not disappear) - The cantilever should come automatically to the end of the toothed floors.

1) The problem is fixed when we make manual corrections in the reinforced concrete dialog on the floors that do not save due to the lack of reinforcement. If the program automatically discards these missing accessories. 2) Small pieces occur at the ends of the reinforcement lines in the formwork plan drawings and raft foundation drawings. These parts remain while Autocadde is moving the reinforcements and small stains occur when printed. 3) Every time we open the program, we need to set the Display configuration setting. If there was an opportunity to fix the screen view that users wanted. 4) Perspective screen opens with a hidden line view, if users can fix it as they wish. 5) Possibility of influencing lateral load (hydrostatic soil) on the Walls defined as the Shell. 6) Possibility of influencing linear load (wall load) on hollow blocks. 7) Possibility of creating oblique flooring by entering height as in beams. (To create stair arms and landings) 8) A problem we are experiencing in Istanbul maltepe municipality: The rib tooth self-weight of hollow blocks is not seen in the slab loads report. The municipality is giving us a problem in this regard. It says that since the rib tooth's personal weight is not written here, it is not taken into account. Can you make an edit to the reports on this subject?

In the 6.5 version, I expected first to draw inclined floor and beam details, but unfortunately, these drawings, which are very important in this version and make us very busy in 2 dimensions, still do not exist, so when will these drawing features that put us in trouble with the institutions will be realized because in these oblique drawings, the reinforcement and element sizes change The arrangement in 2 dimensions cannot be done in a realistic way. It would be much better if you had added them to the changes you made about the beams first. Greetings to you all.

3) We need to adjust the Display configuration setting every time we open the program. If it is possible to fix the screen view that the users want. 4) The perspective screen is also opened with the hidden line view, if the users can fix it as they wish.[ /quote] If you want to perform these operations in an existing project; Select the image you want in the display configuration settings and check the "set as default" option. For the hidden line, select the hidden Line in Perspective. The settings you have made will be valid the next time you save the project and open it. If you want to do it for projects; Make the desired settings in an empty project and save it as a template (the extension will be IDE) in the template/structural folder. When opening a new project, open the project with the "start with template" option

For this, the "Slope mode" command has been developed in the new version. Good work...

"If you want to do these operations for new projects; Make the desired settings in an empty project and save it as a template (the extension will be ide) in the template/structural folder. When opening a new project, open the project with the "start with template" option" Sorry for not knowing how to quote I had to write. Thank you for your interest, Mr. I do what you said for new projects. I start the new project with the template. As you said on the ground floor that appears on the screen, everything is as we wish. However, when we define new floors from Floor General settings, screen shots of new floors and show as hidden lines are reset.

We will check the status you wrote. Thank you...

the new beam expansions are very nice. it is also necessary to simplify the process of defining the slant floor. In addition, it is necessary to define the slab definition process independently of the beam/floor edge/panel. that is, when an edge element is deleted, the tile is also deleted. This prolongs the process.

In some projects, especially the 1st floor wall area is taken as zero by the program. therefore, it gives the message of increase system rigidity. I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem?

Hello, It is a project where we can see your detection Could you add?

I need to make it easier to define slant tiles.
For this, in the new version; the possibility of giving the same slope to more than one object (floor, beam) at the same time, so that inclined floor/beam systems can be entered much easier.

the file is attached. I solved my problem by manually defining the wall area in the floor parameters... I think this happened after the 6.2007 version
