In my project that I am currently solving, due to architectural reasons, short column behavior will occur in two of my columns due to the beam discontinuity (at a different elevation than the lower floor beams of my beam that will continue between the two columns), does the program make the necessary reinforcement in my relevant columns in accordance with the conditions of the earthquake disaster regulation 2007? Do I need to define its formation to the program, if so, how do I define it, or I should do the necessary reinforcement in my project myself, calculate it, make the drawings, please, I am waiting for your help.

In case the column middle zone is not formed in the program, the transverse reinforcement conditions given for short columns in TDY 2007 article 3.3.8 are automatically applied and the column shear force calculation is made automatically according to the column free height. In addition, if desired, related columns can be defined as short columns with the Modify/Object Edit/Column/Short Column command.
