Urgent help please... (siege alert)

Hello there; I'm having Siege issues in the attached project. I increased the beam size, changed the beam misalignment, increased the column size, but the warnings did not go away. Due to the architectural project, I cannot change the column directions. I could not see if there is something I need to change in the analysis settings. I copied B+Z+1 floors and analyzed, and there was no problem, but when I adapted the number of floors to the architecture, I got B warnings for many columns. (There will be no curtain wall around the basement) I am waiting for your help. I wish you a good work...

Re: EMERGENCY HELP PLEASE... (SISE WARNING) When you say siege warning, it doesn't come across as a warning, only your column is evaluated in the unconfined column in the investigation of the column-beam junction. As you know, in order for a column to be surrounded, it must be surrounded by beams from 4 and beam width should not be less than 3/4 of the column width. If I have not noticed in your project, there are no columns connected from 4 sides, so the part is calculated with a coefficient of 0.45 in the investigation of the column-beam junction area. Apart from this, 1) you need to discard the beams KZ9, KZ29, KZ10 and KZ30. Architecturally, I think it would be useful to throw it out of the columns right next to it. 2) I think it would be better if the dating continued continuously, other than that, the system is symmetrical respects

Dear cakilomer, first of all, thank you for your interest. Yes, I defined the beams you mentioned in that way because of the architectural project. I solved it with the same system in another project, as it was a 2nd degree earthquake zone, so there was no problem. I made the beam widths 30 cm, although I increased the short sides and long sides of the columns, I could not solve the problem. As you can see, apart from the columns on which the KZ9, KZ29, KZ10 and KZ30 beams overlap, there is the same problem with other columns. I do not interfere with the KZ9, KZ29, KZ10 and KZ30 beams due to architecture. I am waiting for the suggestions of other valuable brothers who follow the page because I am really in a difficult situation because of this project. Respects

You need to create the integrity of the system, the columns are very irregular, and there is little to no continuity, as I said, your beams must be continuous. respects

I think it will be useful to find answers to some questions in terms of guiding users. On what basis did you suggest the value 0.01? why not 0.02? Is it okay if we don't trust our masters when we get the eccentric ratio of 0.05? What is the criterion in trusting the masters? A person cannot trust his brother in this period. good work... KEMAL YALVAÇ

I agree with what Omar wrote. The system is very troublesome in terms of transferring horizontal loads. should be corrected as much as possible. Good work... KEMAL YALVAÇ

Mr. Kemal Yalvaç Abi Eccentricity, ie eccentricity Earthquake regulation table 2.1 writes +-5% in the A1 and B2 irregularities section. When I asked what this exactly means, it was said that this is due to 1-2 cm shifting in the construction of the columns, and if you think that the columns will be aligned exactly in place, you can reduce this. For this reason, if you trust the production, reduce the ratio of the eccentric to the eccentric.

Hello everyone, even a minimum of 5% additional eccentrically symmetrical buildings specified in the earthquake regulations are taken into account in the calculations in order to have a certain degree of resistance against torsion effects. The additional internal forces brought about by considering this value are more effective in buildings with wide facades, and in buildings with A1 irregularity, this value is additionally multiplied by the coefficient Di. In addition, the relevant articles and others specified in the Earthquake Code clearly indicate the values to be taken and the calculation method and are not open to interpretation. Good work...

In any case, the ratio of additional eccentricity, ie eccentricity, must be = 0.05? Sorry for the wrong information. What the inspector in the building inspection said was wrong. When there was an irregularity in A1, multiplying by Di was used in the analysis with Equivalent Earthquake Load Calculation. Does Bide program this fix automatically or do we multiply it manually with Di _? Respects

You said, "What the inspector in building control said was wrong". Off topic, but I usually have problems with project supervisors working in building control. The last of these; 16.03.2015/İZMİR, I submitted a project that I modified upon the requests of the changed contractor and owner to the building inspection so that they could examine and approve. Building control then called us to look at your project and get it. After that, the project was given to the municipality. A few days later, the municipality wrote that the building inspection stamps were missing. Well, inspector! Without looking at the renovation, he just stamped on the cover and did not even wonder about the parts that were pasted for renovation. Moreover, most of the formwork plan and, accordingly, all beam calculations and drawings were updated. Note: While there are still auditors with the experience and professional ethics to properly review a project, I am of the opinion that their number is decreasing.

What I witnessed in a month confirms what you say. After all, 4 structures were closed in 1 month... Thank you very much for your knowledge and experience, regards

Dear civilmen, since I was curious about your answers, I actually submitted a few questions that were not open to interpretation. I recommend you to read our earthquake regulations frequently. In this way, you will be less exposed to misdirections. good work... KEMAL YALVAÇ

Dear Kemal Brother, that information we learned was wrong, so we checked and corrected it. I hope we will read more and listen to more reliable people. I'm your follower, respect bro
