Trouble importing ideCAD

I import idecade dfx format from autocad, but it does not import columns and axes. that is, when importing columns and axes as in the probe, should it automatically recognize it? Or do we have to draw it ourselves.. I draw the column myself, but it stays in tiny size next to the imported column. I couldn't understand it. I just started learning idecad, is there anyone who can help?

Re: idecad import edekern trouble you have a scale problem. multiply the architectural plan by 0.01 to get it to the same scale as idecad. also, move the plan to x=0 and Y=0 point in idecad by holding its lower left end... autocad layers may be locked/off need to look at it...

If objects such as axis, column, beam etc. are defined in their own layers in the autocad drawing you import, you can convert them into objects such as axles, columns, beams, etc. by using the "Read 2D Architectural Project" command in the program. ..

1 meter = 1 unit scale is used in the program. The scale of the drawing you imported is less than the scale of the program. After the import process, use the "scale" command to enlarge the drawing to 1 meter = 1 unit. Alternatively, you can do the same with autocad and then import it in the program.

For example, measure the edge of a column, if you measure the side that should be 25cm and see 25m, you need to reduce it 100 times. You can use the command Modify --> Primitive Objects --> Scale --> Scale (Reference). Enter the reference length value 100 and press Enter. Enter the new length value and press Enter 1. With this command, you have reduced the drawing by 100 to 1. Select the entire drawing, move one corner of the drawing to the origin point 0,0 using the move command. Finally, you can convert Axis and Column 2D drawings to Axis and Column objects using the Tools menu --> "Read 2D Architectural Project" command.

Hi Tools --> Use the Distance command to check the size of the drawing you imported. For example, measure a column edge When you measure the edge that should be 25cm If 25m is visible, you need to reduce 100 times. You can use the command Modify --> Primitive Objects --> Scale --> Scale (Reference) Select the drawing Click Right Mouse Click, Specify Base point Enter reference length value 100 and press Enter New length Enter the value of 1 and press Enter. With this command, you have reduced the drawing by 100 to 1. Select the entire drawing, use the Move command to move a corner of the drawing as a reference to the origin point of 0.0. Finally, Tools menu --> "Read 2D Architectural Project" You can convert Axle and Column 2D drawings to Axis and Column objects using the command.
Thanks I solved my problem.

Hello, The more accurate the drawing you have imported, the more accurate the elements converted to polygon columns. The width and height values do not have a function when entered in the column properties in polygon columns.(You will see that the column dimensions do not change when you change it) When you click on the "polygon column" line in the dialog, you can see and change it in the editor that opens. Also, information about the polygon column is given in the column reports. Another method of changing the polygon column dimensions is the "trimming column" command.
