Torsion and Soft Floor

Selamun aleykum. First of all, let me give some information from the static report; In a static report in a structure with B+Z+2, the torsions in both X and Y directions on the A1 Torsional irregularity page are nbi: 2.00, In addition, in the sections where B2 There is soft storey irregularity: nki(+/-) values on the ground: -/ 4.05 , 3.09/- on the 2nd floor, the results in both directions are at these values. In the building I want to ask, the torsion is much higher than 1.2, and the stiffness irregularity coefficient in the soft floor is higher than it should be, probably because the building parcel is indented and protruding, this is probably why these results are obtained. Since I can't put the project here right now, I can only ask how do you think the recovery status of these results will be, so how should I interpret it, I'm a little new at this. Thank you in advance, we are very pleased with the information and your interest in general, thank you.

Aleykumselam. A1 and B2 irregularities are irregularities that affect the calculation method according to tdy. Torsional irregularity may be due to the divergence of the center of mass and the center of rigidity of the structure, the concentration of the vertical carrier elements in one place and not being symmetrical. You can define L-shaped shears on the outside of the structure to create high torsional rigidity. As you know, it is highly likely to occur on the ground floors used as shops. If there is a wall, you can include it in the shear force field to reduce the relative displacement rate. More experienced friends can provide more useful information on the project.

Thank you for the information you provided. Torsion happens in almost every building, isn't there a certain limit to it? that is, to what extent nbi is greater than 1.2 should be at our discretion. Isn't there a requirement for this in the regulation? because in the project I am looking at, this value has reached 2.00, is it right to say that torsion will not be too much, or is it the healthiest to make changes in the project and collect it as you say?

So, in my opinion, every engineer acts according to the information he has obtained from the experienced engineers he has trained. However, it is up to the engineer to define this value, this value, this value, this value. But I take care not to create torsion in my projects. These are acceptable. good work

It's not relevant, but I want to ask another question, I didn't want it to be crowded by opening a new topic. In the calculation report, the building has 3 floors, in the drawings, there are 3 floors, but in some places there are only ground and 1st floor results, there is no last floor, what do you think could be the reason for this? For example, when drawing the statics for beam loads, the loads are given to all floors, but in the report it seems that they are only given to the ground floor. On the other hand, the horizontal force acting on the floors is only found in the results of the ground and the 1st floor, there are a few more places like this. Is it due to the program or my fault? I can't add the project, I'm asking if there are any results like this. Thank you..

I did not encounter a situation like the situation you mentioned, friends who can add the project and help can help.
