The file I imported from AutoCAD is very large

Hello, the file I imported from AutoCad program to IdeCad program is always very large. I set the origin points to x,0 y,0 with the move command. I scale with idecad, this time my measurements are changing. For example, my column size of 30 cm appears as 15 cm when I measure the distance with the distance button. I couldn't make this setting. There are many threads in the forum about this subject, but unfortunately none of them solved my problem. I would be grateful if anyone can help me on how to overcome this problem. I wish everyone good work and happy days.

Hello, -You can simplify the dwg file by deleting the drawings you don't need in order to reduce the size of the imported file. You can watch the training video on the subject with the link below.

-30 cm column is 15 cm. If it does, it means that the scaling process is not done correctly. You can increase the scale of your drawing by 2 times with the "Scale reference" command. If the problem is not resolved, add the dwg and project file. Good work

I've reviewed your video before, I followed your steps one by one. But I couldn't get over the problem. I deleted the ide file back because I could not adjust the scale, but I am attaching the dwg file for your information.

Dwg file can be imported at appropriate scale when "move to origin" option is checked in the Import Options dialog and imported with cm. unit. studies

Mr. Levent, I have the ide7 version. I downloaded the demo of version 8 and when I import the project, the zoom settings at 1/50 scale within the grid boundaries, column sizes, everything is imported in its place. However, in the ide7 version, I import the project at the bottom right of the screen by selecting 1/50 scale before importing it. However, the grids are not visible and appear too large in the 3d image and I cannot adjust the zoom settings.

When I import the project in the ide8 demo version, I don't even need to scale the project, it just fits; but when I import it with ide 7, the project I import is very, very large. When I try to set it with the scale size, my object dimensions change. I hope I was able to explain my problem.

7 After importing the dwg file in the version, move the lower left corner to the origin with the "Move" command and reduce it 100 times with the "Reference Scale" command.
