The deformation increases as the foundations dissolve.

Hello, I am designing a 2-storey village house project. I'm a new staticist. My problem is as follows: In the analysis I made before laying the foundation for my building, the deformation colors are at the level I want. But when I constantly lay the foundation, the deformation colors get worst. But in the analysis I made, there is no problem. I get the report that all my values are suitable as green ticks in the structure summary information. Will it be a problem if I leave it like this without reducing the deformation? Or what kind of work should I do to reduce the deformation.

Re: Deformation Hello You should see deficiencies, not deformations, on the right side of the screen. I made minor adjustments to the project. The project is attached. Unver ÖZCAN

Hello, Deformation color scale is organized according to values. Colors and values can be examined to have an idea about the structure behavior and model. In your project, the pavement interactive solution is currently made and there is no problem in the structure deformations. When the foundations are solved together uz and u displacements increase by natural reading For example max. total dep from Ex loading lap 4.42 mm. around, Deformations; The total can be analyzed as u, ux, uy and uz. For example, if you mark long, you will see only collapses, if you mark ux, you will see deformations in the x direction. Apart from the structural deformation, it is important whether the relative story drift conditions given in TBDY 2018 article 4.9 are met or not. These checks are made automatically in the program and whether the limits are exceeded is given as a warning in the reports. In case of relative storey drift problems, the problems can be solved by increasing the rigidity of the structure.

Please let me know if you make any minor changes Could you please share. You chose semi-rigid diaphragm instead of the full-rigid diaphragm I observed. Do you recommend using a semi-rigid diaphragm for more realistic results. Where should we use full-rigid diaphragms? Are there any other places where you make changes in the project. Apologies in advance for bothering you with my questions. I wish and thank you for your understanding
