Symmetrical Truss Profile Overlap

Hello, When I use symmetrical 20 m span truss, the profiles on the right do not overlap, but the profiles on the left overlap as in the picture below. Even though it is a symmetrical scissors, why is it? How can I fix it? I'll be happy if you can help me. Good work. Doruk Araplılı Civil Engineer

I know I can fix it that way. But isn't it strange that in a symmetrical scissors the other end overlaps like that? I don't know if it's a programmatic issue. i want to know about this

Hello there; Activate the “Get the symmetry” section of the perpendicular at the bottom right in the section section of the scissors properties. If you have console distances or some interventions in the additional features section, the fractional sections may be given in one direction. If it cannot be solved in this way, I will ask you to send your project. Good work.

Hi, I also tried the Get symmetry of reverse perpendicular command. This time, the profiles on both sides overlapped. Actually, I could not go further than this part of the project because of this situation. I have a span of 20 meters. I will place my scissors on my two reinforced concrete columns. I couldn't do this with any scissors.

Hello there; As you can see in the attached project, all the values that you examine the truss drawing are located symmetrically in both directions and the dimensions are exactly the same. There is no such thing as if there is an overlap in one direction but not in the other direction. Since you didn't post your model, I don't know exactly where the problem comes from. However, if there is an overlap in both directions, there is overlap from the angles falling on the diagonals, as of the lengths you have given geometrically. Increase your split spacing or decrease your post height. If it is not possible to be geometrically, there is nothing the program can do. If you think there is a reason other than these situations, I need your project for more healthy information. Good work.
