Structure weight calculation

There are differences between the total building weight given by idecad and sta4cad. this affects the total earthquake load. do you know why?

Re: building weight calculation In the live load calculation of the floor in the program, it is calculated according to the moving, floor clean openings defined on the floor. If it is thought that there is a live load on the beams, it should be entered in the Beam settings dialog.

Re: building weight calculation Fixed load calculation is correct in idecad. Assuming that the other program does it correctly, it is necessary to compare whether the floor and load loads are given the same.

thank you very much. The main difference is that idecad assigns the distributed load to the clean openings of the slab whereas other programs transfer the load from axle to axle.

If there is no wall load on the beam, we enter that value in the live load line in the beam settings.
