Steel structure risky structure detection

Hello there; The building I shared in the appendix is a steel structure used as a single-storey residence. Risky building analysis cannot be made with İdecadde steel structures. However, I heard that in the risky analysis of steel structures, the cross-section insufficiency of steel elements is examined. Would it be a correct approach if we modeled this steel structure as an idecad and made a normal analysis and looked at the inadequacy of the section? Thank you in advance for your interest.

Ms. Nurgül, I wanted to do a linear performance analysis in a steel structure for trial purposes, but it's not possible

Hello there; If you examine DBYBHY 2007 Chapter 7- Evaluation and Strengthening of Existing Buildings, it is stated in item 7.1.2 that the evaluation criterion for steel buildings is to design in accordance with Chapter 2 and Chapter 4. In other words, you need to analyze and design as if you are designing a new building for steel structures and determine whether the existing sections are sufficient. For the above reasons, linear performance analysis or risky building analysis is not performed for steel buildings in the current version of ideCAD. You have to analyze your structure and evaluate the steel design results according to the element and joint deficiencies and use the optional report as a report.
