In a duplex building, the lower floor will be reinforced concrete (hollow-hole system) and the upper floor will be steel, that is, a box profile hipped roof. Will this system be solved together in İdecad or should it be solved separately and taken separately in both systems?

Hello there; Solving it together will be the best design approach. It was a method used when individual solutions did not allow the available programs. In fact, the periods of the two-story structure and the periods of the structures you solve separately will not be the same, this will change your earthquake forces.
