Steel Roof with Box Profile

Hello there; There is no specific video for modeling with a gable roof or only a box profile. However, you can create a similar model by using the roof sub-tab from the 'Objects' section on the top toolbar in ideCAD Steel & Reinforced Concrete 8.62 by making use of the training in the link below for the architectural program. By using the elements on the gable roof you have created as a base, you can model your roof from box profile as you wish with the steel beam command.

Good work .

In my project, I need to create a steel roof like the roof in the picture below, as you said, I created a base with the roof object, how do I provide the beam end joints, purlins (2,3 beam ends together), do I have to enter one by one with the stability beam while creating the rafter? When I do it, the top level of each rafter is different, so the same slope is not provided) How can I do it easily?

Hello there; If you define new workplanes for related ranges while modeling one by one, you should not encounter the problem of inclination not being the same, you must do the modeling within the relevant workplane. Create a plane by entering the 3p working plane command under the top toolbar display tab - target working plane on the program screen and selecting the main beams where you will place the purlins. Then you can enter data in this plane with single purlin command or steel beam command.
